“Excellent customer service and very very knowledgeable staff. To the review about the "price gouging" they raise the prices of your not a license contractor and if you are but don't have an account with them. If your and contractor you get the $10 price. Every time they sell a capacitor to the public for the same price they sell to a company it would take money out of our pocket. They are there for their contractors. Not the occasional Joe public who doesn't electrocute himself replacing his own capacitor.”

“The best hardware store I have ever visited. While the selection is lesser than that of larger stores, the folks that work there know what they are doing. The employees are tradesmen and women, they have experience and can answer tough questions. You will notice that most are long term employees, unlike other stores with high turnover. Sun is great!”

“Awesome hardware store. Very nice & clean and offer a huge variety of everything for your needs.I used them for a U Haul pick up. I had to make a lot of time changes because of unexpected illness. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. There’s one employee that really stands out as the best. I called her “my Angel “ Joanna. She should win the prize of “employee of the year “0f all the Ace Hardwares. That being said there is one young lady that was extremely unreasonable & mean. It was a Sunday and Joanna was off that day.If you need a hardware store in the Spicewood or Lakeway area, I would highly recommend this one.”

“Greatest place in the world for dang near anything you need. I ran all over town looking for a item and had to order it. On my way home I told my son let's just check Winkleys. Walked in and was asks if I need help. I reluctantly said I'm pretty sure you don't stock this. Guy walked me over to the part I needed. I bought two and it was less they were less then the boat dealer. I love this place for all you boat and hardware needs. Going today to get a gasket for my bathroom”

“Never thought I would Yelp any Company other than food, but we should! There are amazing interactions we have on a daily basis and the employee and their manager may not know how awesome the employee was the customer and how they made a difference in their day & life. So here goes. Background story, getting ready for a big party been visiting HD for several weeks now almost everyday getting something, returning buying more stuff. Today I needed some more paint and found a young guy named Connor in the isle. I explained my project and he literally spent almost 30 minutes with me!!!! He NEVER made me feel rushed or he needed to get back to work or had something other to do than help me. He was very experienced with paint and the effects and what you should and should NOT use for projects. I happened to have a photo of my project and showed him he the kind of color I was looking for and he went directly to a paint that purchased and used today. It color is AmAzing!!! I would have never picked this color out as I was going for a matte look, I'm so happy happy that I let him assist me on this project. I have always been timid asking for help in those places, because the last time I asked for assistance cutting trim board, the guy said Glenn could help me, he kept talking to me rude & ugly...I was trying to be so nice, He was hand sawing my board and cutting it all up ugly. I thought they used electric saws there. Now I have to find someone to help me smooth the edges, the reason I needed someone to assist. I even called the store and they told me anyone would be glad to assist in cutting the boards for me. I'm a girl I don't have cutting tools & how to cut 45 degree angles....so Glen then treated the lady behind me really nice...so see why it's important to shed light on the Angels of Home Depot!!! lol Thank you CONNOR - I can't wait to show you how my project turned out.”

“I have had nothing but good experiences at the Bee Cave Lowe's.I have always been greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I want to especially thank Norman. He was the most helpful employee of the kids DIY workshop I have ever experienced! I appreciate that Norman made the monthly kid workshops super fantastic!”

“I joke with my husband that we should own Home Depot stock for as often as we go to the Bee Cave Home Depot. Lucky for us, most of the employees are really kind and helpful. Our dog loves getting to go and it appears that the other dogs love going there, too. If you have been to a Home Depot, you know that the prices are comparable to their competitors. There isn't a whole lot more I can say about the store, but that the employees set them apart from their competitors.”

“Love Lowe's garden center. They have nice selection of bushes and flowers, best price in town and great 1-year warranty on trees. While all private local nurseries hiked the prices up during Covid and after Texas snowstorm, Lowe's still keep their price the lowest. Wish they have a more trees and fruit trees this year like other years, but it's understandable. the snowstorm must have impacted their (and other nursery) supply dramatically”
