“Callahan's ! kinda of a unique store . Very friendly atmosphere. You can probably find items at this store ,that you can't anywhere else in Austin . However , some items are a little pricey. , probably about the same as any other hardware store. Need some advice , trying to solve a fix it problem around the house , just talk to O - Mason in the back of the store . I know they use to have good live musical entertainment, on weekends . You bleed country , you'll like this store. .”

Their mops..brooms..etc last 10 times longer and do a much better job than the wimpy ones available at must retail outlets. They cost a bit more but being able to use the product for 10 or more years more than offsets the cost difference.”

“My first time here I wasn't too sure what to expect but let me tell you how this place totally blew any opinions I had totally out of the water! They have so much here! The store is split between an Ace Hardware and a "home goods" side. The second one you walk in there is a plant nursery immediately to the left filled with so many plants, all beautiful colors and shapes! From plants in hanging baskets to outside statues and decorations. The plant nursery has a little bit of everything for all lovers of outdoor decor. Really what blew me away had to the little area off the right of the entrance that housed all the chocolates and seasonings. They had so many unique things here I was in shock. I always hate going to places that just offer the same things, salt and pepper, some butter, it gets so boring. Not at Bree's & Co. they had so many unique rubs, marinades and spices. Plus their tea is out of this world!!! The ace hardware side is exactly what you'd expect from ace hardware, but the employees here are so friendly and helpful! The employees at the front check out of Breed & Co are always so nice, and they remember me every time I come in which makes the experience that much nicer! You guys need to stop by, there are so many things appropriately priced and affordable it's crazy!!”
