Be aware of the $20 "processing fee" that gets charged for any new account. I was not told about the additional fee until after the sale was rung up. When I questioned the purpose of charge... the employee was kind but was unable to offer an explanation and half joked that it was just somthing extra that this location charged. Additionally, new customers are limited to a maximum of 5 minutes for their first three tanning sessions... and are still charged for the full maximum time under each of their monthly packages. This company has a lot of "rules".Lastly, on my way out I inquired as to how I could reach a manager. I told this location doesn't have a manager. When I asked how I could reach a regional manager or somone with oversight... I was told the individual responsible for the region doesn't accept customer inquiries. I was then given an 800 number ... but was also told that the line only connected to a voice mail and they would evaluate whether I warranted a call back. I then politely provided the clerk with my number and asked that she pass it along to her supervisor and to please call me by the end of the next business day.This company has a very low standard of customer care.

I've been using Palm Beach Tan in Auston for more than a decade but it looks like I'll be moving on. I only reside in Austin part-time which means a monthly membership doesn't really work for me. Instead, I pay the single tan rate of $27.50 and I've done so hundreds of times. Recently, they've implemented a new policy in that, if you haven't tanned with them in a month, you can only tan for a half-session when you come back. For me, and others like me who reside in more than one state or use different salons, this is terribly inconvenient. Even though I tanned at another salon 10 days ago, I am limited to a 5-minute half-session when I tan here. The kicker? They still charge me the full $27.50 for 5 minutes. Ridiculous.

I visited yesterday for a spray tan for my beach vacation. I was up sold a bunch of additives that she made sound necessary, but were supposed to make my color last in the water and give me better color. My color is already gone, one day later, and I spent almost $70. I've done plenty of spray tans and have never had this happen. I will definitely not return. The sales person was very cheerful, friendly and informative, but I feel like I got duped with all the upsells and I left for the beach as pale as I was to start with.

I've been coming to Palm Beach Tan for the last nine months. They employees are always so warm and welcoming. The tanning bed is always cleaned and prepared nicely. Overall the establishment is well put together. I prefer Westlake's location for the assortment of tanning beds but the location of Lakeway is more convenient to my home. Great find to keep my tan going year round.

This facility is a joke. They lie when the truth needs to be known, their Corporate office will not even respond to your 15 email requests. They have several Managers that work at the local Lakeway tan and all tell you something different then say no they didn’t and they do NOT stand behind their agreements. I do NOT recommend any of the Palm Beach Tanning facilities. I’ve tanned all my life and never had an issue.Service: Tanning

The staff is PHENOMENAL! Some drive all the way from Killeen and San Antonio. They are so nice, attentive and personal. This is my fav place in Lakeway because they are just the best people in there.Services: Tanning

I was instantly greeted by the staff member, Marie. She was very personable and friendly. She helped me pick the right membership that worked best for me. She was full of good knowledgable information. She walked me through the tanning beds and made my first time visit a breeze!Service: Tanning
