Actually they deserve a ton of NEGATIVE STARSThe Lakeway post office put my packages in their parcel and the key would not work. I could not get my things for 2 weeks. They told me I needed to return the key UHHHH WHAT? I do not work for the post office and not my job. Ok, now we are current ... they have put 3 packages on HOLD and I am not getting my mail. Isn't that illegal. They are withholding my packages for NO REASON. I have filed a FORMAL COMPLAINT with the US POSTAL SERVICE!!!! I need to know what gives them the right to hold my stuff ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!Gina is very helpful and it was awesome when she delivered to my neighborhood. The MANAGER NEEDS TO BE FIRED AND I sure hope my complaint helps!!!!! YOU ARE MESSING WITH MY MAIL AND YEAH I WILL PUT A STOP TO ITI am blaming the sellers/retail stores for my "lost" packages and come to find out the post of office is HOLDING THEM !!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SOOOOOOO MAD AND ANGRY. I HOPE KARMA KICKS THE MANAGER IN THS A$$ AND QUICKLY

There may not be a worse post office in the country. Slow, rude, lost packages, no accountability. No supervision, no such thing as customer service. Go anywhere else, you will be better served.

If I could Leave negative stars I would. I am speechless. There is a male who works there that is INCREDIBLY rude. I have never had such a distasteful experience in my life like this one. It was my first time ever delivering something so I had asked him to help me sort it out, he was short and rude saying “you can use the tape that is there to close your box. And you can write off the address yourself.” Then while I was taping the box, he kept telling people he proceeded to assist with it being my turn for assistance saying “sorry I can’t hear you over the loud tape.” Are you serious? What kind of worker are you guys hiring here? How unprofessional honestly. I after I was done, I left the box to the side and got my wallet in the car, when I came back he was like “I thought you had left.” I just stayed quiet, and had to make the line again. I am Appalled. Sarcastic, rude, unreliable and with a massive attitude. Please hire nice personnel. How can you guys have people work like this in your facility that leave people with the worst experience coming out of it? My heart was racing from the rage. This type of behavior from an employee to a customer is awfully off putting. Especially when you go in there with a good attitude and in a good mood. Needless to say, that is not how I left and I’m never going back. (Shift was night shift before close, only male working among two other women on Feb 12th 2024, far right kiosk, tall African American.)Please do better USPS. this is unacceptable.

I’m standing here at this moment wait for some guy at the “Dutch doors “ trying to see if my change of address has taken. Went on line approx. a month ago, filled out form, to forward mail, paid $1.50, recvd. Confirmation. Mail still kept being delivered, then went to the post off in Lakeway, got a forwarding card from guy at desk, filled out put in mail box, after 2 weeks, still getting mail. When to post office again to ask why, was directed to window, where a guy (looking around while I was taking to him) took my address to see if my mail is being forwarded, it has now been 25 mins. If you hate your job, quit!!! If you’re just working for the money, Then Do your job!! Your getting paid good to do it!!!!

The Manager was the only helpful employee, which is why my rating is not lower.I opened a PO Box here; they only had the super small and ultra-large PO boxes available, so I had to go with the oversized, expensive box.I began using this PO box as my primary mailing address. During the first two and a half weeks, I had yet to receive a single piece of mail despite the tracking number for several packages showing they had been delivered here. After receiving 0 mail for several weeks, I asked the front desk what was going on; I was told I must be using the incorrect address. So, I decided to start my own investigation into the problem. I mailed myself a package, so I had a copy of the full label with the Sender and receiver address with tracking. When that package showed "Undeliverable," I inquired again with the front desk, and this time, I handed them my shipping label that clearly showed my correct address information. It turns out the staff member that initially opened my PO Box account and gave me keys never bothered to assign my PO Box to me in their system, so all my mail was either forwarded to the previous PO Box owner's address, OR it was "Undeliverable" and returned, or it's gone missing despite the tracking number showing its currently located in the USPS Building I'm standing in.Thankfully, the Manager at this location helped me track down one of the most important packages that had gone missing; it took him about 20 minutes to rummage through the mail to find it, which I very much appreciated!Thank you to the Lakeway USPS manager, whoever you are,Please know you are the only employee here of value.

I had a package that said delivered yesterday but I didn't get a key to open the parcel box. I called the post office this morning and Gina answered. She was so friendly and helpful, even gave me her number to call back if I didn't receive it today. She took my info and gave it to the driver. Instead of leaving at the mailbox cluster he hand delivered to my door. Thank you both!!!

BEWARE of the Self-Kiosk! No one at USPS is responsible for what happens in the glitchy machine. Ordered 50 stamps from the machine as the line was long. The order said it didn’t process and so it didn’t print..just showed an error screen and went back to its homepage. But I later noticed that my credit card was charged. I went back to explain and they said they are not responsible for the kiosk machines and to call customer service. Customer service directed me to domestic claims which then told me I had to file online. Online doesn’t have an option for kiosk related claims. Anyways, $33 lost. Sharing so others don’t have to go through all this as well.

Employees take up probably ninety percent of the parking spaces in this facility. Often there will be three people in the lobby and the parking lot is full of cars. At Christmas, it's impossible to find a parking space. Poor management.

The clerks are typically nice but Parking is terrible. The employees have to park in front where customers park so the closest parking spots are always monopolized by employees. Sometimes there is no parking available and you have to wait in a line for when one spot comes open. Same cars every day, parked backwards with their sunscreens in their front windows. Please instruct them to park in spots furthest out away from the building. Thank you.

HORRIBLE. They do not know their own requirements for what counts as an envelope vs a package. I have a small online business that requires I ship items in a bubble mailer. I ship about 50 items per month. Every month, about 5 or 6 come back marked as needing more postage. YET SOMEHOW THE REST DON'T? I package every item the same way, how do a few keep getting sent back to me? It's because they have employees that DO NOT KNOW USPS SIZING REGULATIONS. Not to mention, you can't ever get an employee on the phone anymore to ask questions. They have cost me SO MUCH MONEY AND BUSINESS because they cannot do their job properly. Drive to another post office if you can. NOT WORTH IT.

Not sure who I spoke with on the phone but it was a man. He was incredibly rude. I never leave reviews but I just had to with this one. He kept interrupting me, being short, kept sighing and sounding irritated. Quite rude to do to a customer with anxiety about a missing package who was just asking simple questions. Pretty sure he also lied about the status and location of the package I'm anticipating (I called my home post office and they even said he lied cause they see the status too.) Oh, and he abruptly hung up on me too. I see why reviews are so negative.

God help you if you ever have to call this post office and just assume anything that gets delivered here is gone forever. So very, very bad. Try them out every couple of years only to be reminded how terribly bad this location is. Worst. Post Office. Ever.

Don’t expect to get your packages delivered on time. It is so frustrating how often mail and packages are not delivered on time. The tracking information they provide is not updated in a timely manner, so a package that is “expected by 9pm” will frequently not show up until the next day, or worse, gets lost. This happens far too often with this postal location.

Based on one counter service 8/9/2023 at 3:30 and one drive through. Parking - plenty; large lotDrive through drop off - yes; mailboxCounter service - was very friendly, professional, and helped me save time and money. My envelopes were too small and they were able to charge me an extra manual process fee (a special stamp) to add to 30 envelopes so I didn't have to re-write them all and I didn't need to buy more (bigger) envelopes. She also let me used her tape. I had help from 2/3 staff there and they were patient and kind. No line either!
