in all my years of banking I’ve never had to make an appointment to do a wire transfer. I was unfortunate enough to not be able to do a transfer one day because I hadn’t made an appointment with a banker! Needless to say the recipient was not happy, and neither was I.I called to try to make an appointment and lo and behold no one answered.I know times are tough but come on Wells Fargo you close down two banks in the area so this is the only one available I would hope that it would be properly staffed to handle all the volume that three banks used to handle.Today I forgot that I needed to make an appointment and the earliest I could get was for 3:30 PM.
