Walk in the door and only one person greets me. Meanwhile I stumble around looking for my needs. I'm not familiar with the store. Two other employees having a personal conversation just 5 feet from me but neither of them can be bothered to even offer assistance. Finally, I find the two items I needed but only after crisscrossing the store three times. Still no one offers assistance. Then at the checkout, I'm half-way through the process when the phone rings. There are two cashiers there but one is fooling with stock on the shelf. The one ringing up my purchase STOPS what she is doing mid-stream and answers the phone. i'M STANDING THERE WITH MONEY IN HAND AND SHE WANTS TO SEE WHO NEEDS HELP 5, 10 OR MAYBE EVEN 50 MILES AWAY. So there I stand waiting because this brain-child can't do two things at once. To top it all off, SHE can't even help the person on the phone. She doesn't know the answer to their inquiry. She has to ask the other clerk...so why didn't the other clerk just take over the call? Now she has to fool with her earpiece intercom and get help from the back. Meanwhile, my purchase is still on hold while I stand around like I've nothing better to do. Then finally she finished pushing ONE button on the cash register so that my receipt will print. Couldn't she have done that ages ago??? Then she can't seem to figure out if she should give me the reciept or just what she should do. It was like she didn't know what planet she was on and couldn't find the switch to turn her brain on.
Come On ACE! This ain't rocket science. The Customer Service Police will be issuing you a citation for failure to proceed in an orderly manner. You'll have to go to Customer Service School for 8 hours on Saturday in order to maintain your license to transact business. One more violation and you could lose your license for one to three years.
