I'm a car guy and generally work on my own vehicles. But being a business man with a fleet of vehicles, occasionally I need some help. Tom and his team are the only crew I trust with our rigs. they are thorough, attentive and make sure you're back up and running as quickly and reasonably as possible. you're in good hands with The Shop!

When we had engine trouble on our road trip, we had a difficult time locating a mechanic shop that wasn’t full up. This one tired to find a shop that could see us, and when they couldn’t, they took us anyway and helped us get back on the road again. With a van full of kids, we are very thankful for their willingness to take the time that we know they didn’t really have to fix us up.

I was in my way to work in Burnet from Gatesville and got a flat tire I went to the closest place which turned out to be a great experience. Every was so friendly and gave the best customer service. Thank you to Tom York and his family run business I was back on the road in no time!

Broke down in Lampasas on a very hot Sunday. John was the only shop to return my call, I was very relieved when my truck was towed to their shop. Due to unfortunate times in finding parts it took several days but Tom, the owner, was very nice and up front in explaining everything. Will use them again if needed. Thank you both Tom and John.

I live in Pflugerville part time and near Lampasas the other half of my time. Sadly, my car broke down while traveling to my property near Lampasas. Tom and his family were quick to diagnose and fix my broken starter for me. I was back on the road in a couple of hours and at my property all in the same day. I really appreciate them treating my emergency like it was their own emergency. I have never used this business before, but I was treated like a long time customer. Tom, you will now be my go-to mechanic anytime I'm in town. Thank you so much for taking good care of me. You earned this 5 star review!

I am traveling and had a flat. Stopped by to get the nail hole fixed and there were actually 2 nails. They repaired the tire and put it back on and put the spare tire back under the truck. All quick and professional. Hopefully I will never need them again but if I am ever traveling through and need auto help I will stop by here again.
