Yesterday I experienced an awkward moment at American Eagle that made it very uncomfortable for me to continue shopping and it hasn't been the first time. So my sister went in first to find some good deals and she found a great deal some Jean jackets original priced at about $80 were now ringing up to $23. My sister bought 1 and told be to buy some for myself. I was like "they probably gone" she was like "no the rack is full" so I was like ok let me go get one. I went in to AE, 5 minutes after she left and told me. No jackets but XL AND L on the rack. I was confused I don't think 10/15 people came in in 5 minutes and took them all so I told my sister they are gone and she spotted the manager at the register with about 10 Jean jackets. My sister asked to have a size small and she gave her the jacket. But as she walked away to look for me I saw how the manager was bad mouthing my sister because she asked for the Jean jacket. We are at a store trying to buy clothes and obviously looking for good deals and this person takes all the Jean jackets for what? To raise the price? Or to hold them for a relative or friend to be sold online for more? It's unprofessional of her to even talk about a costumer with the other employees. What is it to you if we ask for an item? It's your job to assist us in anything we need not to make us feel uncomfortable by talking about costumers behind there back. Be more Professional! Bad mouthing costumers will have you fired when you mess with the wrong one. You are there to work not judge others for buying cheap items or saving the items that are in sale for your convenience.

If I cloud give 0 stars I would. Horrible costumer service the manager and the associates have a terrible attitude towards customers! And they don’t even follow the store policies.

Went in to Aerie to look for some leggings I saw online. Associates were friendly and helpful. Tried on like 5 things and these girls were HYPE WOMEN lol they were sweet an helped switch out sizes when needed. Sizes were limited but it was a popular item so it makes sense. 10/10 would return
