We were 2 hours from getting to Laredo when they called that they weren’t able to accommodate our room! They had completely sold out of room! Did not offer help us accommodate anywhere else!
Definitely do not recommended !

I paid $373 for one night. The hotel is dated and not well maintained. The carpets are gross and stained. A better option in Laredo would be the Tru Hotel or its sister property.

I’ve been staying at Embassy Suites for a couple of months.
Staff. The front desk, Victor, and others have been super attentive and responsive with any issues or concerns.
Food. The breakfast is awesome. The restaurant inside makes great food with fair prices. Happy hour nightly with drinks and light appetizers is a bonus.
Location. It’s right across from a theater, a gym, and mall and a mall.
Rooms. Rooms have a big room for sleeping and a big living room, each with their own TV and can be closed off from one another. It makes you feel like you’re in a big suite.

I travel to Laredo a lot for work and this is the first time I have stayed at the Embassy Suites. I wish I would have found this place before, it is defiantly the best place to stay in town. Its very clean, the complementary breakfast is amazing with eggs cooked to order, fresh fruits, and juices... Better then most breakfast spots in town. They even have a happy hour at the bar nightly. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I also love the location, right by the mall in a safer area of Laredo. I will defiantly staff here on all my future trips.

I’ve been staying at Embassy Suites by Hilton Laredo for years—biweekly visits, without fail. I’ve always appreciated the comfort, consistency, and service, which is why I’ve remained a loyal guest.
However, during my most recent stay, I was disappointed by a new policy and the lack of fairness in how it’s being applied. Upon check-in, the front desk asked if I drove in, which I found unusual. I was then informed of a new parking fee, which I paid without hesitation—assuming the hotel would be enforcing it equally across all guests.
To my surprise, I noticed several vehicles without parking permits displayed. It felt frustrating and unfair to see that enforcement appeared inconsistent, especially when guests like myself pay the fee in good faith. If there’s going to be a charge, it should be applied and enforced across the board—no exceptions.
I also noticed many of the vehicles belonged to military personnel staying at the hotel. While I respect and appreciate our service members, fairness should still be a priority in policy enforcement. Either everyone pays the parking fee, or no one does.
This experience left me questioning the integrity of this new policy. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and enforces consistent standards moving forward.

I’ve been staying at Embassy Suites Laredo for years—biweekly for work—and have always chosen this hotel for its consistency and convenience. But my most recent experience left me very disappointed.
At check-in, the front desk asked if I drove in, which was odd. Then I was told there’s a new parking fee. I paid it without issue, assuming it was being properly enforced. However, I quickly noticed several vehicles without permits—especially those belonging to soldiers staying at the hotel.
Why charge for parking if you’re not enforcing the policy equally? It feels like I was singled out and taken advantage of simply because I followed the rules. That’s unacceptable. If there’s a fee, it should apply to everyone, no exceptions.
I’ve been a loyal guest here for years, but this kind of inconsistency and lack of fairness makes me seriously reconsider continuing to stay at this location.

I’m writing to express my outrage and deep disappointment with the way my recent reservation was handled — or rather, mishandled — at your hotel. I booked a room using my Chase points for a stay from Thursday to Saturday. The reservation was fully confirmed and paid in advance. I was traveling with my family and expected a smooth check-in. Instead, I was told upon arrival that no rooms were available.
This was not a last-minute booking. It was prepaid and confirmed — and yet somehow, someone either removed or canceled my reservation and gave the room to someone else. There’s no other explanation. I received no call, no email, no notice of any kind informing me of a cancellation or issue with my booking. That tells me this wasn’t a system error — it was either carelessness or a deliberate decision to give my room away to someone else.
This left my family and me stranded late at night in an unfamiliar city with no accommodations and no help from your staff. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic human decency was appalling. I chose this property because of the Hilton brand name and the expectation of quality service, but this experience was a complete failure on every level.
I demand that this message be brought directly to the attention of the hotel owner, general manager, and all relevant decision-makers. I expect a full explanation, a formal apology, and to know what actions are being taken to ensure this type of negligence doesn’t happen to another guest — especially not one traveling with their family.I also have proof of my reservation paid in full which I will be providing to the BBB and also Consumer Protection Division and anyone else I need to reach.

This hotel is really nice. But the catch is and I can’t find anywhere that they tell you but they charge you $12 for parking for each vehicle and on top of that the hit you with tax on top of the parking so for two People I was hit with $21 for tax on top of the $24 for two vehicles. They do not tell you about the tax on parking. I noticed when I got my bill for one night stay.
