My cousins got into heavy metal and hearing rock music and in high school and one was not into Christianity. I don’t Plus we have the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is a heavy metal guitar center meaning there into goth and not for really helping other groups

I ordered a baby grand piano and sales rep indicated they will help loading it to my truck. Today, manager on duty indicated it was not possible and gave me all excuses and no alternatives. I was very disappointed. He argued he has been there for 10 years but that does not mean he has the skill set , customer service or leadership skills a true manager w 10 years of experience possessed. Essentially he said he did not care one way or another what I decided to do and essentially told me w his attitude to take my business somewhere else so I did ?. Horrible experience. Hope top management help him to growth and understand customers are priority.

If you love music it will be hard not to smile for the first time you walk into their climate controlled guitar room. This store has it all including a kind and helpful staff.

Sad that I have to give a star just to write a review. The staff is absolutely disinterested in the customer. They don't even greet you when you walk into the store. This is not the first time this has happened. Over the course of a few years, even before covid, this seems to be the norm. I see all the 4 and 5 star reviews and wonder how much they're getting paid for such a lying review. And as far as the pitiful response from management, nothing changes! We definitely need a Sam Ash in Laredo.

Guitar center in Laredo is what you get. It's Laredo. It's not bad, it's not great. We usually get the generic tools and gear and are left off without the things that are more out there. I'm 28 as of now and I've been going to gc since I was a teenager. I really hated the old staff. They were rude and there was this older man that always smelled like alcohol. It wasn't cool but it was the only place to go. Now I'm 2022 I can say it's so much better. The staff is nice, everyone there (except the audio section but I think that's just because lack of staff) is super into what they do and from what I hear when I go in, some of those guys can really shred. They got your back with price matching and will help you if you don't feel like the instrument is right for you. I will say that sometimes it's more of who you know. It's Laredo baby.

Try to purchase a keyboard and they said it didn't come with a power cord and you had to buy the power cord separate makes no sense it should come with it if I'm paying $200 for it

I mistakingly thought the store closed during the pandemic. Luckily I was wrong. Went this evening to look for an inexpensive classical guitar and guitar strings for my grandson's guitar. Spent 20-30 minutes looking at guitars. Looked at EVERY guitar and even walked around the entire store twice. The 4 employees at the entrance were engaged in conversation and joking around. The other two, in the back of the store, didn't seem too interested in me either. After trying to find a suitable guitar I gave up and decided to buy the guitar strings and go home. Went to the counter but the two employees were engaged with their cell phones. They did not notice me. Put the guitar strings back and left. Went to Walmart next door to look for a guitar. No luck there either. I guess there is Amazon. That is unfortunate because I like the idea of supporting local businesses.Visited last week. Ignored for over 30 minutes. Went back tonight. Looking for guitar picks. Took me 2 minutes to find what I needed. Waited about 10 minutes to pay. Some guy was ahead of me. Not sure how long he waited. Guy at the register on a call. Other employees walked by but offered no help. The guy ahead of me left and then I left. Two times in a row. I won't be going back. Last time someone from their customer service sent me a message saying that someone from the local store would contact me . . . never happened. Sad.
