I alternate between HEB, CVS and Walgreens depending on the medication I need and whether I am using insurance or the GoodRx card. I like HEB and the prices with GoodRx are typically low. The only issue is the hours.

This is the worst pharmacy, I always come after 4 because that's when I can, and there is always a long line in the drive thru and inside. I wish they had faster service. Not my pharmacy btw, it's my mother-in law's

An elderly family member was given an automatic refill of a medication; the problem was, the dose was recently increased, and the refill he was given was for the old (lower) dose. I went back to return it for him (he had enough of the newer dose and didn't need a refill), but was told they couldn't take it back and it is the customer's responsibility to check before leaving the pharmacy. Excuse me? How about the pharmacist's job to check and question why someone would be taking two different doses of the same medication, ESPECIALLY when the person is elderly and could get confused and end up taking both? That is dangerous and irresponsible on their part. Worse yet, it's not the first time it's happened; there was another medication months ago that we kept cancelling, and they kept refilling, even though it was for 2 different mgs of the same one. I don't trust the local manager to handle this correctly, so I'm going to look into taking this higher up. Who knows how many other people they're doing this to and putting their health in jeopardy.

In line 45 minutes for my meds, drive thru cashier stocking instead of assisting the in store line, she is "only" drive thru, such BS, they need to get a manager that knows what they are doing. They have no respect for the customer, I told the clerk the wait time is ridiculous and the manager needs to know her job and schedule more employees to assist the customer, his response was an eye roll and be ignored, way to go HEB top of the line employee's and if you don't like your job, then quit and then maybe they can hire people who want to do their job. I chose this HEB cause it is so close to home, but if I would have gone across town probably would have saved time. Very disappointed, home office meeds to know this.

Good prices, I stupidly chose them for the "convenience" of being nearest to my home.

My newborn was prescribed cold medication to be picked up here at 6 PM. I get here at 7 PM and the line inside the store is out the front entrance. We decide to go through the pharmacy drive through line instead. At 745 PM we’re told the pharmacist isn’t filling any more medication and that our prescription wont be ready until the next morning at 11 AM.I’m back the next day and the line inside the store is out the door and the drive through is excessively long. Avoid this pharmacy at all cost, save yourself the trouble and use a CVS or Walgreens instead. There’s multiple lanes and registers but only one is used at a time. I guess the service and standards are bad here because it’s in the south? I’ve never experienced wait times like this at H‑E‑B Del Mar or Plus.

Slowest pharmacists, really rude services! On top of that people themselves are so ignorant that they dont even acknowledge that both lanes are for drop off and pick up, that means even more wait time. Definitely changing pharmacy. Ill now be going to my local Walgreens!
