The staff is praised for being friendly, helpful, and genuinely loving towards the animals, ensuring they are well cared for until they find new homes. The adoption process is described as simple and quick, with many animals finding forever families through the shelter. Visitors and volunteers appreciate the opportunity to foster and support the animals, highlighting the shelter’s positive impact on the community. The organization hosts events like spay and neuter clinics, reflecting its commitment to animal health and population control. Supporters also recognize the importance of helping the shelter through donations and volunteering, emphasizing the difference it makes for animals in need. We went to the Christmas event. No interest in actually adopting a dog but just to see and visit since my son loves animals. Welp, we found a puppy we loved. The shelter was quick to get our paper work and even gave us a few toys for her. It was great. Everyone was kind and the animals are all well taken care of.

I go here to volunteer and too play with the dogs.
Here in the photos you have two very sweet girls Madison aka Maddie and Meatball, they are very shy at first but once they know you they love you, I have walked them by cats with no reaction, they would be great as a pair if you have that option.

With the amount of strays in this area, I am so thankful for LAPS. My self and many soldiers had a stray that we were taking care of. The stray had puppies and The staff took them all in. The 346th thanks you all for saving our extended family
