I have a long-standing relationship with LFCU. In all of 21 years, they have provided my family great service - from financing the car loans to notarizing important documents. I even had a favorite banker there but he’s now retired. The person who facilitated our recent car loan, Sonia Salazar, is a personable lady who made sure the process was as fast and easy.The one downside is the experience of using the debit card. If pin is entered wrongly, you will be rejected and will only be cleared if you call them. Calling them is not problematic; I always get the issue resolved. However, there should be a way for debit card to be used as a credit card just like the other debit cards such as Wells Fargo or Chase.One other thing customers need to know is they don’t offer business checking account. I wonder if they have that info somewhere in their website.Except for those two, I’m satisfied with LFCU’s service, their bankers and their staff.

I called to ask a specific questions and the lady that answered my call was being rude and giving me attitude and screamed at me. Very unprofessional. If I can give 0 stars I could.

I am a VERY understanding person so for me to give this bank 1 star (would have gave them 0 if possible) rating means they have had to mess up consistently. Terrible Costumer service from management. Just by far the worst bank I have EVER had. Ridiculous and terrible Bank STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK.

I wish somebody would have warned me before seeking financing here. This is what I wish I knew:They don't reply to emails, don't answer calls. Woefully uninformed. They don't finance Teslas, and it took a month and a half to tell me this after multiple visits.They performed a hard inquiry into my credit. My score is close to 800, and in the end after wasting 45 days of my time, simply told me they're unable to finance a Tesla. Credit score is now needlessly dinged because Representative does not know or understand or didn't ask.Find financing anywhere else.

Horrible customer service been calling for 2 straight days I only keep getting the answering service. If they don't have enough employees to answer phone calls then they should even own a bank. So frustrating. Going to cancel my account for sure.

Laredo credit union is one of the worst in customer service. You find the staff talking to each other while the customer wait for over 1:30 minutes to be seen. It’s shameful.

If I can put less than 1 star, I would. DO NOT GO HERE. NOT RECOMMENDED. 4 months ago I refinanced a truck with them. 2 weeks ago, I went to the webb county tax office to renew my registration; however, I was not able to do so because their system still says another person owns my truck. 4 MONTHS and still they haven’t sent the paperwork. And if they did send the paperwork 4 months ago, why don’t they follow through with members’ accounts? If you send a check and it hasn’t been cashed in 4 months, well RED LIGHT!!! Two weeks of calling almost everyday and finally they tell me they sent the check again. I go to the Webb county office, and they tell me the check LFCU sent was short $200, so they cannot process my renewal again. Here I go again calling LFCU, and they cannot take my call because they are busy. Worst customer service out there. Stay away from here. And btw this is the South location.

If your looking for a loan great place, but if your looking for a banking account GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, YOUR CARD GET BLOCKED EVERYWHERE EVEN AT H.E.B. IT SO EMBARRASING AND FRUSTRAGING, CANT EVEN BUY A SOFTDRINK FROM THE SODA MACHINE, when I express my concerns they do listen, but say they forward it to someone else, but yet the same problems keep happening.

I've heard so many great things about this bank but my mind changed when I got denied for an auto loan through a local used car dealership as per my salesman apparently I was approved for my good credit ? but my loan was rejected because of my annual income, the bank didn't even give me a chance to work something out I could have opened up a bank account and give them a piece of mind by having my payments with months in advance I never even received a call from the bank to work something out ....So much on being an essential worker couldn't even get appreciated.....?

Went to the atm no paper placed on the atm machine that it was out of service . Put my card to withdraw money and the card fell in the slot. They dont have anyone who can at least help you a 1800 24 hr # . Imagine being without your card and you need to wait till the dam bank opens. I think it's a time for change .
