Went to make a return (purchase from vogue ..went there because I was in a rush and melrose was on my way *I have also previously returned something from Melrose at Vogue or vise versa and never have they told me I am not able to do so*) … sales associate started the process then said she needed to get manager for approval took manager about 8 minutes to get to the register when she was only a couple steps away at the front because I had just asked her about making a return because nobody was anywhere near the register and very rudely responded “at the register” as it wasn’t common sense and I told her I was only asking because no one was there and she just ignored me… so after taking 8 minutes just to get there .. she asks if I would like my return in cash which I agreed although I paid with debit card… then continues with the return and looks at the receipt and says but you purchased this a vogue to which I respond I can’t do the return here ? and she says YES but they usually do them over where they purchased I explained it was closer to me and I was in a rush … she continues to then tell me I’m going to give you a gift card … don’t know why she asked me if I wanted cash for my return if she was going to end up deciding for me.. when it also says on your receipt and on a sign they have on the register “ Our preferred return tender is a Melrose Gift Card UNLESS THE CUSTOMER REQUEST OTHERWISE “ In that situation the return will be made to the original form of payment.. told her to just cancel it and I would go to the other store some other time .. It was definitely not that big of a deal for her to be that rude and have an attitude with me from the beginning and from the start they could’ve told me I couldn’t make the return there instead of wasting my time if that was the problem. Crazy for her to be the manager and have this poor customer service.
