Went in on Sunday afternoon looking for a 50 lb hog to roast for my birthday. Butcher assured me he had in stock. I told him I’d be back for one on Wednesday. Yesterday, went back to pick up the hog and butcher says he only has suckling pigs of 20 lbs! Now how am I supposed to find what I need in 2 days? My best guess is he was trying to move the short line along that Sunday since football is back. Idk 🤷🏻♂️ That’s what I get for trying to support local carnecerias I guess
Edited to add: Pig is finally thawed. Look at this. Horrible. Why is it missing this big ol’ chunk?!

Milk price is outrageous when I got to my car I check my receipt and it was $8.49 for one gal of milk!! Never buying milk here!
