Update to my first review, below: a few years on it is a bit grungier and they now add a fee (plus city, county and state tax) on arrival for the in-room safe, which is a really lousy practice. Everything else seems the same. A half hour or so to Colombia bridge.
Stayed twice, coming and going from Mexico by car, and with a dog. The rooms i had were very basic but clean, wifi was good, parking lot well-lit, reception well attended, location convenient to money exchange, food options, gas stations, freeway and a fairly straight shot to the border for bridges 1 and 2.

This is a great hotel in Laredo - the best deal for sure ! But the last 2x I stayed here I got eat up with BED BUGS - Room 101 & Rm 103. Housekeeping manager needs to use plastic coverings for all beds so the bugs have nowhere to hide on the bed … they come out at 11pm like clockwork - other than that love this hotel !!

rooms were good. location is as well with plenty of restaurants/fast food places nearby. the service was great especially with Tiffany! very friendly and accommodating!

The whole hotel smells like shit, the air conditioning doesn't work, and Clarissa at the desk is very rude, and serves poorly, most likely the owner pays bots or random people for good ratings, IT'S NOT A GOOD HOTEL, IT'S NOT LIKE THEY DESCRIBE IT, IT IS NOT

I have been coming for many years and the staff is excellent Cesy and Tiffany, super friendly and attentive, we will always return with great pleasure and my husband loves the coffee that Juan the night guy prepares, also excellent, TAKE CARE OF YOUR STAFF, THEY ARE EXCELLENT! !!

Front Desk Tiffany Ray Perez gives very great customer service very helpful super welcoming anything that i need it she was there to help me out in anyway she can I would definitely come back to this hotel an would keep telling friends an family to come to this hotel .
