The mission of the Ruthe B. Cowl Rehabilitation Center is to assist all individuals with disabilities whose condition can be improved by the services offered at the Center regardless of age, origin, race nationality, creed or economic status. Mrs. Cowl’s vision was to create a place to provide an integrated program of physical and emotional restoration for people suffering from polio… Little did she know that her vision and compassion would make it possible to help those with birth defects, strokes, brain injuries, amputations, emotional problems and other physical conditions that impact their quality of life.
I attended the center for physical therapy because of back problems. They helped me regain more mobility through the use of several combination therapies. They also showed me stretching exercises to do at home. Excellent service!
