Went in store at the 200 Gulf Fwy S. League city,TX. 77573 and automatically was greeted by 4 men standing there and asked if they help me out. I replied yes sir I purchased a attachment for my Stihlweed eater which they rudely snapped at me saying they didn’t make a attachment for my model So then I asked if I would be able to get my money back or could I get store credit towards something else. They talked to me as if I was in there trying get something for free. I graciously said hey please do not think I’m here trying to get over on you I’m not looking for handouts I have a very good job and make a good living after going back and forth they replied they could give me a gift card. Which was fine with me. Now I did take in consideration the reason they were being rude was possibly because I didn’t have my receipt. Saying that after 30 minutes or more walking around to find something of equal. I decided to just take the gift card Now the cashier girl was wonderful she was really trying to go out her way to assist anyway possible.She ran a gift card 4 times and was not able to load gift card. So she called the extremely rude manager and he replies the card been ran 4 times at this point there is nothing else we can do . So without loosing my patience or causing a seen I pick up my item and walked out.look honestly it was only a 30.00 item that’s not my complaint the part that I felt like I was stereo type was maybe the color of my skin now I believe I have my receipt in my office desk where I save all my receipt for work and tax write offs. I like to try again but at this point I believe I’ll just take my lost and never do business with northern tools again. And with my line of work I have over 1000 customers I will most definitely let them know not to do business with Northern Tools at that location. You have to ask yourself was a 30.00 item worth loosing a customer or the chance of losing several customers because you wasn’t trained correctly as a Manger or worker at your job.

Store manager was very helpful with a part we were looking for , and helped take it apart at the store which saved me another trip.

Never got my $25 gift card for paying online and to top it off the engine hoistni purchased was missing 2 key components and at 8:30 on a Sunday evening no one is open to buy bolts from. I would have been better off at harbor freight knowing I would have been disappointed instead of shopping here and being let down and helpless on a Sunday evening. Now how am I going to be able to go to work tomorrow with a $4000 engine sitting on my tailgate and it's expected to rain tomorrow. Guess I'll haul a$$ backwards hit the brakes destroy my new engine and my concrete driveway so I cam make it to work on Monday. Thank habour freight rejects!

We took our power wash in May 3 for repairs and we had a lot of trouble and very little communication with their service department and with the store itself. We paid our $65 upfront was quoted a price to have it repaired and then they upped the price, but they finally got it ready three months later. They have done nothing but lie to us not return phone calls not keep us updated. Done work without our approval. The store manager was never available so we got the second right assistant manager who was absolutely no help whatsoever. The service department was a big joke. They would not return phone calls and when you called them and got somebody on the line, they lied to you. I will never ever do business with Northern tool again and I am telling everyone how pathetic that store is an assume they’re all the same way

On May 19 I dropped off my hedge trimmer for service at Northern Tool League City. I paid $65 but was not told to expect any delays. I phoned NT weekly for an update. The service department complained they had a backlog of 400 customers! On June 23 was told they had found it needed new carburetor. I told them go ahead as I need this tool. 4 August “Robert “ informs me they cannot repair the unit. 11 August MT calls to say “I can pick it up”. In other words it took them 3 months to find an excuse to keep my $65!!!

Poor experiences people trained in sales not product. Service dept. Pathetic. I paid their 60.00 fee and waited a month for them to tell me they couldn't repar my pressure washer. Cannot recommend.

Found the tools I was looking for. Only store person I talked with was cashier on entry and checkout. Passed a couple of workers.

Tiny store in and out of the way location that's difficult to get to. Everything that I went to look at was cheaper at Home Depot so I ended up going and buying it there and should have gone there to begin with because I wasted gas coming down here this far down the freeway

Poorly run tool store with multiple BAD attitudes from manager to some employees!...Your definitely a bother and inconvience to this establishment.

We paid for an extra 3 year warranty on a pressure washer in addition to the manufacture’s warranty and with many problems with the machine when we brought it back after 30 days they refused to replace it and said we must have ran it wrong ???? Never buying another thing from them

So glad to have a place close by and faster than the big stores. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. I'm not normally one to ask for help but their staff is very helpful when I have needed it.

I shop at a lot of northern tools across the country. This is not on a major strip mall in highly visible or desirable location which is good, because it's well stocked

I previously left s negative review to due a poor management choice. However I was contacted by the gm shortly after to rectify the issues i had. Overall the management of this store is done quite efficiently and i would recommend shopping at this location but do not show up close to closing time expecting to get something at the last minute before they are scheduled to be closed.. the doors may be locked.

All 5 stars! The products are great and the staff is fantastic as well. Special thanks to Doc the store manager for the drill I won in the drawing at their potluck for business owners! Half of the battle is showing up. Go here for your tools and equipment and you will not regret it.
