I enrolled my son in this daycare for one year. Everything seemed fine when he was in the infant class. However, things changed once he moved to the toddler class. I started receiving incident reports, sometimes 3–4 per week, mostly because he was bitten by other kids. I understand that kids play and accidents happen, but not at this frequency!
The final trigger that made me decide to withdraw him was two accidents involving his eyes within one month. The first time, his left eye was pierced by magnet tiles and started bleeding. We took him to the pediatrician across the street, who said that since he was very young, there wasn’t much he could do. However, he warned that the injury was dangerously close to the eyeball and we needed to be more careful next time.
We had a serious conversation with the teachers and asked them to put the magnet tiles away once playtime was over, especially since the injury happened when a child tripped over them. The teacher agreed. But the very next day, we saw the tiles still scattered on the ground during pickup. We then raised the issue with the director, and it seemed to be resolved.
Not long after that, my son’s right eye was hit by the corner of a table, leaving a large bruise. I told my husband this was insane and that we needed to find a new daycare. As soon as we notified the director of our withdrawal, she called and admitted it was due to staff negligence. She offered to replace the teacher with someone more experienced. I immediately declined—this is not the type of daycare I want my son attending.
Since moving to a new daycare, we've had only one accident report in the past six months. What we experienced at The Learning Experience is definitely not the norm. If I had known Abuse and Neglect org at that time, I would have reported them long ago.
Secondly, even though we disliked the daycare, we still followed their policy and gave a two-week notice before leaving. Despite this, they overcharged us for two additional days. They promised to refund the extra payment at their earliest convenience. It’s been six months. I’ve called multiple times, and every time, they give me a new excuse to delay the refund. If it’s so difficult to process a refund, why did you overcharge us in the first place? We paid our tuition on time every month—why can’t you show the same responsibility?
I have completely run out of patience. This is, without question, the worst daycare I have ever seen.

My child has been attending The Learning Experience for about 2 months and I am pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the patience they have with my daughter who is delayed in walking. They have the cutest little app that keeps me updated of my child’s status throughout the day. Thank you team for your services!

As a parent, nothing matters more than knowing your child is safe, happy, and learning. The Learning Experience has exceeded every one of our expectations. Our 4-year-old son Levi absolutely loves going each day. From the moment we walk in, the staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive. It’s clear they genuinely care for each child as if they were their own.
Levi has blossomed socially and academically since attending. He’s always excited to tell us about what he learned, the fun activities they did, and the friends he played with. The communication from staff is excellent and we always feel informed and involved.
We’ve seen so much growth in his confidence, independence, and even his manners! The curriculum is engaging but age-appropriate, and we love how they focus on both education and emotional development.
If you’re looking for a daycare that feels like a second home, where your child is loved, supported, and thriving, we wholeheartedly recommend this daycare. We couldn’t be happier with the care Levi receives!

Before enrolling David at The Learning Experience, we tried another daycare, but it didn’t work out. He cried the entire day without eating, playing, or napping. We also toured several other daycare centers nearby, but each time, he ended up crying as soon as we walked in. Finally, we decided to try The Learning Experience—and to our surprise, he loved it! He started talking more and, most importantly, began trying new foods he had never eaten before. If your child is hesitant about daycare, a picky eater, or experiencing speech delays, we highly recommend The Learning Experience!

My child has been attending TLE for almost a year now and I have no complaints. This school has very motivated and honest teachers. I love how much hands on activities the kids do. TLE also goes above and beyond with childcare.

I've been taking my sweet baby here since he was almost a yr old, he's 3 now. He absolutely loves going to daycare and seeing his teacher. She is the best with my child he adores her so much. Aj has autism and is very particular when it comes to life day-by-day. They are constantly keeping me aware of what's going on throughout the day on their app. Highly recommend this facility for your child care needs.

This is one of the best facilities I've had the pleasure of doing business with. Cookie is just so wonderful, the absolute best person to deal with! I can't say enough good things about her. She really makes everything much easier & very attentive to the needs of others. Plus she's funny too. I highly recommend using TLE in League City.

My son has since been pulled out of this learning center. But I feel the need to share my experience. When my son first started coming here, I noticed none of his teachers would fill me in on his day. I would ask his teachers how his day was and all I would get was “Fine.” Nothing further. As a first time parent and first time taking my child to a daycare/learning center, I assumed I would at least feel welcomed or get more information on how his day would go, considering I don’t trust just anybody with my child or his education. My mom started picking him up, and she would tell me how the teachers would just stand around outside leaving him sitting on the hot concrete, out in the sun. They didn’t even bother putting him in the shade. She said when she picked him up he cried out to her and he felt HOT to the touch. He later ended up getting sick. I assumed the teachers would play or interact more with the kiddos. No. They would just stand around and not really engage with the students. Fast forward to a couple months later. My mom went to pick him up and witnessed his teacher PHYSICALLY put her hands on his face, and verbally and sternly told him to “STAY IN YOUR SEAT” my mom stormed in and told her not touch her grandson like that ever again. All she could let out was a “I’m sorry..” Said teacher got suspended without pay, and we wanted to file charges. But nothing ever came of it. I’m not sure if she still works there now, but I hope for the parents sake and the children’s safety, that she doesn’t. From the teachers not being welcoming, to them being neglectful and inattentive, to even putting hands on someone else’s child…overall our experience was a nightmare. Sucks considering this was our first daycare experience…it really ruined it for me. Now my sister watches him and I just can’t trust any other learning center after this. And seeing all these rave reviews I’m genuinely curious and confused? Because my experience was the total opposite. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read my review. And I hope things have changed since pulling my son out. That being said, Ms.Cookie has always been really sweet and kind, and always listened to our concerns. She really tried. I hope nothing but the best for her.

As a parent (single) one at that finding a school for my son was essential. Not only because I have to work but also, I wanted him to learn and advance with other children. I am very grateful for the staff here at TLE League City. I literally pass up one TLE to send my son to this one where I saw so many positive reviews about the director Ms. Cookie. Well, they are right. She is super passionate about EVERY child who walks through those doors. My son has been there almost a year and I have received so many compliments on how smart he is.We have been in 2 different classrooms. My son is 2 now and Ms. Trin and Ms. Bailey have done a wonderful job with the curriculum. My son is very well rounded. Additionally, the support teachers in that classroom Ms. Kathy and others show their love and support even when I as a parent can be a helicopter parent :).No school is perfect, and we have had a small hiccup, but the staff was on it. They did not take lightly the concern we brought to the table and continued to keep me in the loop. I know putting your children in the care of others can be scary, but I can say they hire some amazing teachers, and you won't be disappointed!!Thanks TLE for all you do for our family!
