This pharmacy is completely unprofessional and disorganized. I had to visit multiple times for one prescription, and every time they said it was ready or coming in, it wasn’t. They’d give me just a few pills, then eventually send me to another pharmacy. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Please do not waste your time. The store is overpriced and there is one young male cashier that works evenings that is lazy, rude, and ignorant. He acts like you are bothering him when you try to purchase items in his line.

This is without a doubt the worst pharmacy in League City. They don't start filling your prescription until you show up, and even if it is prepared beforehand, prepare for your pick up visit to take no less than half an hour. Once you finally get through it's a 50 50 shot if they have your medicine ready or if you're gonna have to wait 1-2 hours for them to start working on it. This place needs new management or something, been like this for 4 years now.

Horrible pharmacy. They treat you like just another faceless customer.

To prefice this story, I was a pharmacy tech at a very high volume CVS for multiple years.
Today, I walk into this store with four prescriptions: one for eye drops (prepackaged), one for an inhaler (prepackaged), one for cough syrup, and one for cough pills. Yes, the cough syrup and cough pills require having to pour and count things after adding the scripts in the system, which can be time consuming for some. The pharmacy tech does not even ask the pharmacist, and he tells me it would be an hour to wait. I then say, “Okay, well what about the inhaler and the eye drops, since they're prepackaged?”. He goes to ask the pharmacist and comes back to tell me that it will take them 40-60 minutes to do that after they told the person in front of me dropping off a script that it would be 10-15 minutes. So I ask for my prescriptions back, and the pharmacy tech walks away and ignores me.
I then have to stand in line for the second time to ask for the scripts back, and I get an attitude from a different pharmacy tech asking if I'm going to a different Walgreens (inferring they would be in the system). First of all, y'all didn't enter them into the system yet, so why would I just go to a different Walgreens so you can take your good old time typing them in? Absolutely irrelevant question. I have the Walgreens app, and I can see you all did NOTHING with them yet.
I told them I'm going to CVS. Walked into CVS on Marina Bay and asked to wait for the eye drops, they said oh we can do all of them under 15 min. CVS has two LESS techs on duty, and they’re doing their job efficiently and were SUPER kind.
I’ve never experienced such a rude treatment at a pharmacy, and I'm from the northeast. The prescription I wanted was PREPACKAGED. It should not be a 40-60 minute wait for eye drops especially when the person right in front of me was told 10-15 minutes. The hardest part is typing it in the system.
I understand having a bad day, but do you think I was having a great day with a high-strength pink eye medicine, an inhaler and cough meds? Everybody has crappy days. There is no need to take it out on another person.
Walgreens has lost my business for good. Don't bother with this store. Save your time and patience for CVS.

Absolutely the worst walgreens pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. They apparently don't keep basic diabetic supplies in stock.

This place is terrible and I don’t think it’s just this particular location because the one that closed down in Kemah wasn’t much better. They were literally always out of stock of my medications every month. I would understand if it happened once in a while but it’s was habitual. I took a leap of faith and went to the HEB pharmacy across the way and couldn’t be happier. The pharmacy staff always seemed to have attitude also.

DON'T GO TO WALGREENS!!! Every time I go to through the pharmacy there's a problem. When I go inside bc there's a long car line I hear every customer infront of me have an issue. The turn over rate with employees is high. Every month I go someone new is working the counters. Maybe it's time to get a new manager/Dr in there. They've done everything from violate my HIPPA rights by giving MY prescription to a man who happen to come behind me with the same prescription but they didn't have enough to fill his so when they went 2 give him "his" prescription paper back they gave him MY prescription paper with all my information on it! He got my number of the paper & called me 2 let me know bc he works in the medical field and knew that was a BIG F up on their part. Had he not called me to tell me I'd never of known bc Walgreens was begging him to bring it back when he told them he was going to meet up with me and give it to me bc they'd violated HIPPA rights. My 3yo was sick, her Dr gave her a prescription, I went to pick it up, get home, read the directions and realize they gave me the wrong prescription for a 3yo!!!!! Employees constantly don't know how to run prescriptions through insurance so I have to call my insurance who then has 2 call up there and walk them through THEIR JOB!! My last 4 or 5 visits they NEVER have enough or none at all to fill my prescription even after taking it, saying it'll be ready in 2hrs just for me to get a text minutes b4 I'm about to go pick it up or already almost there saying "prescription delayed. Not enough in stock to be filed." Sometimes I'll even just show up at the time they tell me it'll be ready and nobody's even entered it into the que to be filled. Some workers will give me my prescription back so I can fill it at the 24hr one but some tell me they can't give it back. It's bc they want insurances $$ my script is 1k. Yesterday as usual I dropped my script off 2b filled, the lady told me it'd be ready in 2hrs. I kindly asked her to please look and make sure they've got enough to fill it. She looked and said yes. As I'm walking into the store, 7min shy of 2hrs i get the text "YOUR PRESCRIPTION HAS BEEN DELAYED. IT'S OUT OF STOCK, BUT WE'VE ORDERED MORE." This has become such an issue an employee told me the delivery schedule. Allegedly, if you get your script in b4 3 they can order what they need to fill prescriptions. After that they fill what they can with what they got. Even when I get it in b4 3 there's issues!!!

I hate I sit at the drive through window and the pharmacy that has at lease 4 people I can see through the window working just to totally ignores me then finally tells me to come back tomorrow since my prescription has to be filled by another Walgreens and sent to this one. I am suppose to get a text or email it is ready, but they never send them! I hate Walgreens pharmacy!

Dealing with the pharmacy is the WORST. They are either out of stock or it takes them forever to have your medication ready. My prescriptions that were sent from urgent care have been "in progress" for 6 hours now. I have called multiple times to try and find out when they would be ready and can't get anyone to answer the phone. The last time I called I sat on hold for 30 minutes. Every few minutes someone would pick the phone up and put it right back on hold without even speaking and then I was hung up on. It is frustrating enough trying to pick up regular medication, but when you are sick it is 10x worse!

If I could do zero I will…My daughter is very sick needing antibiotics…Doctor sent the medication at 1200… came to pick up apparently they had issues with insurance, called insurance everything is clear, pharmacy was using wrong numbers, great.. then around 3 pm solved the problem via phone, I told them I will pick up then… came at 6 pm… still not ready they made me wait…daughter suffering for all this unnecessary bad customer service…
I definitely not coming back….
The front desk person was very sweet and nice and the pharmacist too… but this whole wait and unnecessary bad customer service definitely needs to be fixed.. when dealing with sick customers.
