Very disappointed with our stay. I do not recommend staying at these cabins and most definitely will NOT go back. Very poorly stocked. Cooking supplies are minimal at best. Take everything you need for meal prep if you plan to cook. Our Cabin was filthy, it had hair in the shower from previous guest. The floors were filthy you couldn't walk barefooted on them or your feet would be black. We had a spill in the kitchen and when we wiped it up the towel was covered in black grime from previous stayers. I don't think the floor had been mopped in years. The broom that was in the cabin was covered in hair and yuck. The toilet smelled strongly of old urine and was not clean. Take your own sheets, blankets, pillows, bedcoverings as they provide none. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. They charge you $190.00 to clean but they do not have a cleaning team that comes in behind you to clean. They expect the previous stayers to clean it and leave it clean for the next guest. They do not come by and pick up your trash everyday anymore. They charge extra for every little thing including trash pickup and vehicles. It's just gross. My family has gone to Criders for years, We used to sit on the riverbank and watch the floaters go by and we could get up and down in the river conveniently from just about any spot along the riverbank. That's not possible anymore because they don't weed eat near the river bank and its all overgrown now. You have to crawl through the weeds to get into the river or use the steep stairs. You can't sit on the riverbank and just watch the people floating by anymore either, the weeds are too high and the bugs are bad. Just very disappointing to see what used to be a wonderful place to stay so poorly maintained in everyway...lawns, cabins, supplies. While we were there we found other cabins to stay in for next year. We won't be back.

We have been staying at Crider’s for about 8 years now and we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. The staff is great. The cabins are very clean and spacious. And the location! Our cabin was a few steps away from the beautiful Frio River and magnificent cypress trees. Such a beautiful place. Can’t wait to stay again!Rooms: Very clean and spacious!Nearby activities: Great location! Very close to Leaky and Concan for shopping!

Great experience. The owners are friendly, professional and have great customer service. RV park is shaded so the camper didn't get hot during the day (in a heat wave no less). River access is perfect, lots of places to park.

Had another amazing year!!!’ Staff was great as usual even after an incident with another business. Mr Escamilla him self came to apologize and to make sure everyone was fine. We will be back again!!Our family has been going for the last 7 years to the Frio and the last 4 have been here. Our favorite place, great people, great staff and one of the best places for river access. We will be back again next year.

We stayed at BC and had a good time. The cabin is clean and has everything we need. More importantly is the honest and welcoming staff, I left my airpods behind, not holding high hope to find them again. But I gave them a call just in case, and they DID find them. Thanks!

Our family traveled to Crider's on the Frio in October to enjoy the perfect Fall weather! Wow! All I can say is that pictures do not do the place justice - you have to go see the beautiful scenery for yourself! We have two small children and there was still so much to do! We played in the river at Rock beach, hiked around the property, and definitely enjoyed the hill country sunrises and sunsets. As far as activities go, this is the perfect place to take a vacation with the family. Although we took advantage of the off-peak rates and the serenity of the property in the Fall - we cannot wait to go back in the Summer! They have river access for floating, fishing, a swimming pool, volleyball court, bird watching, frisbee golf, grills for cooking out, the list goes on. The cabins are nicely renovated and have everything you need. The office staff was friendly and supportive which makes it easy to give 5 stars! To those travelling to the area in the evening hours, they have a sign at the front of the property so that you do not miss the turn!

It is a great location. The cabin isn't as stocked as I would have liked. If you stay here, make sure to bring your own tp, trash bags, paper towels, cutting board, knife too, cuz the ones at our cabin were very dull, towels, cleaning supplies, all toiletries, etc. It's just like camping with AC, a shower (that is nice), beds and walls. ? Our dog came with us. $50 extra charge, but worth it. Great location for pets. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend it and come back again.

I absolutely love Crider’s ! It’s perfect to sit & relax in the crystal clear Frio river without the huge crowds or hang out in the pool/hotub.

Kids enjoyed their weekend trip. Plenty of space to run around and easy access to the Frio. Cabins have everything needed for a comfortable stay and the family enjoyed the pool/recreation area.

Our cabin was roomy enough for 4 people. It was spotless. We enjoyed the quietness and had a great relaxing weekend!

Had an amazing time staying at Criders. We got to float on their property and although the water was low during this time in mid March, it was about an hour long. At the end of the property’s section of the river, there was a perfect water hole where we hung out and were able to swim and hang out in lawn chairs, just walking distance to our cabin. A very well kept property with great staff.

Brought my kiddos during spring break 2022 while I kept working away. The place was very relaxing and surprisingly up to date. Internet was great for the most part, smart tv, everything you need to cook. Check in was easy and check out was easier. The workers on the property were very nice and willing to help out.

The owner/ management of the cabins are very honest. I accidentally left my wallet didn't notice until 4hrs later. We called and they checked the cabin and found it. Honesty is not common now days. Thank you!!!
