I bought a cute little phone purse from there and as soon as I tried to unzip it, it broke off. They do not allow you a refund or store credit. Won't go back there again.

I didn't catch the name of the young man running the cash register yesterday Saturday Oct 28th, but what a blessing he was! Leakey Buckstop has a terrific employee in that young man who went above and beyond as my motorcycle group was ready to leave and I ran out of time when my card chip didn't register and I gave up trying to make the purchase. Thank you for your kindness!!

To whoever is manager of this store:Lovely environment & big supply. However please touch up on your TABC policies with your employees.My family & I went to pay & I was denied my drink because I didn’t have my ID. Now this is understandable even though I’m of age, however there are parts of TABC you need to brush up on. Legally in Texas, parents can buy & give alcohol to their children minors or not.When my family member tried to bring this up our cashier immediately began shaking his head no & saying he could not sell alcohol without seeing an ID, even though she had one.Not only was I refused service, but my family member who had their ID was too. He kept stating he needed to see an ID without ID-ing my third family member. Both my mother & I were refused service. I caution your business moving forward. I would love to share this information & forward the TABC rules to anyone who wants to reach out, coming from someone who holds a TABC license.

One stop shop. Fresh produce, quality meats, souvenirs, and household essentials. They also carry a variety of Texas made products from different artisan, like spices, hot sauces, candles, textiles and more. If none of that interests you, come in for the decor. Everything is tastefully done in rustic antique with a splash of bears.

I drove all the way from Andy's resorts to this place only to find the girl that works there standing out front and telling us that she "closed early, sorry". So I had to back track and go all the way to Uvalde. The store across from our place closed early too... will never come to the Frio again. Not a good experience to say the least. The several I counters that I had with the locals (employees) was not a good one. Everyone out here is rude to their customers.

The coffee bar is a must stop for me and my family svery time we go into Leakey. My inly complaints is they dont have any dairy free options (understandable for such a small town) and they are always out of whipped cream. However, the family dollar next door almost always has whipped cream.I absolutely love their frappes!
