Just picked something up from here, the people working there are very friendly and helpful, one in particular(sadly I didn't get her name) helped me out with a dolly they had available (since the order was pretty heavy) would definitely bank here if I lived in Austin.

We had someone steal $5k from our account right before we left for vacation. Brooke saved the day by helping us find solutions to our problems. She spent two hours with us and calmed my fears. Thank you, Brooke. We appreciate you!

Today requested change for two $20.00 bills (8 five dollar bills). Told change could not be provided unless I deposited into my account and withdrew same amount in $5.00. I don’t have an account therefore turned away. Never in all my years encountered such a policy. (Not like I was not a customer and showed up with thousands to exchange). Went to another bank - same request, no account, no problem. Will never consider banking with A+.

The experience we've had with A+ at the Hero Way location has been a great! . Our situation was a bit complicated but Ms Blevins worked out all the kinks for us & has continued to be a great help with any questions we've had. The folks at the HERO WAY location are so helpful & personable. It's a good service throughout:)

Beware customers! Our A+ checking was subject to fraudulent activity. An electronic check ( $4600) was deposited into our account a minute before the bank closed, so it would not flag. Then they used my wife's PayPal account to draw on the check up to $1200. The next morning my wife gets the call that our account has been suspended. A first they did not believe that we didn't deposit the check, later they admitted it was fraud and deleted the transaction. But, they refused the $1200, saying that they would investigate. Two weeks later the bank says there is no fraudulent activity with the $1200! The account is still suspended. PayPal has been equally unhelpful. Please beware of this scam. We are very disappointed in the way that this whole matter was handled by A+ fraud department. It seems the burden of proof lies with us, not with them. We lost time and wages trying to correct this matter but it seems we have no recourse. My wife was told that even if the matter was resolved in our favor, it was unlikely they would reopen the account. Score for the scammers, tough luck for us. So yes make sure you do everything to protect your account, because A + will not! We live in Leander Tx.

DON'T trust this bank with your money!!Opened an account and they had to have the manager check it, but the manager had NO clue what they're doing. She added an extra $40k to my account, then had to have the manager remove it. What is going on with this mickey mouse outfit?

I’ve been banking here 10+ years. They are wonderful. My only complaint is if you have to call them for any reason, the wait time on hold to speak with someone is RIDICULOUSLY long! They need to hire about 500 more employees

I can't say enough about this Credit Union. Not only do they have fantastic customer service on any given day, but my Member Services Officer (Debbie L.) is the best. She's like having a trusted friend that you can call for help & she makes everything so easy, plus she knows who you are.....no matter how long its been since you last talked. She makes transactions over the phone seamless which really helps if you are disabled. Thanks to the whole great team at the Leander branch!

Worst auto loan experience ever! I purchased a car through CarMax who gives 3 days to find another financial lender. My credit is awesome and I got the loan through this A+ Credit Union with a great rate. The loan officer stated that I had completed all the needed paperwork and that nothing more was needed from me. My first car payment was drafted from my account by A+ Credit Union to pay CarMax. I thought everything was fine and had no reason to think otherwise. A couple of days later CarMax called me to say they hadn't received a payment, and that I needed to make the payment immediately plus a late fee so it wouldn't affect my credit. A+ was supposed to make the payment to CarMax. I called A+ Credit Union loan officer, and he proceeded to tell me that although A+ Credit Union drafted the money from my account that it didn't get sent to CarMax because he claims that "something went wrong with CarMax and they have these problems a lot." I asked to get the fax confirmation that showed he sent the loan documents to CarMax and he said he didn't have them. He said that "sometimes they follow up with CarMax to make sure all the paperwork goes through but it's more of a courtesy for the customer than a standard process. And that it was my responsibility to ensure the paperwork had gone through." I had no way of knowing that was my responsibility because he stated he would take care of everything with CarMax. So, A+ drafted my car payment from my account so I was out that car payment plus an additional car payment. Where did the car payment that A+ drafted go? Nowhere. They pulled it out of my Wells Fargo account and did nothing with it. I was eventually refunded the money after a few days but thank goodness I had a savings account to cover the 2nd car payment. I escalated the issue to the loan officer's manager and then her manager but the response was the same, "It was my responsibility to ensure the loan documents from A+ Credit Union were correctly sent to CarMax." I told them I wasn't notified that it was my responsibility but now that I know I will go follow up with CarMax because something must had gone wrong on CarMax's side. I requested the fax confirmation that my loan docs were sent from A+ to CarMax so I could take this up with CarMax. She said she had it but "couldn't send it to me because that was internal information and they can't send out internal information." So I can't have the documentation I need to follow up but yet it's my responsibility to do so. Guys, this is insane! I've never dealt with a more unprofessional company than this. I will never do business with A+ Credit Union ever again.

Always wonderful people to work with here. Been banking here for 5 years. So happy the Leander lobby is open on Saturday again!
