The best gym I’ve been to! This is exactly what I have been looking for - a community! The staff are so kind and very helpful. It is never too crowded and everyone is very respectful and polite. Everything is always clean and in place. Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews - these people are just upset about something that was their fault and they decide to go online and vent. Reviews have a real impact on businesses and this location does not deserve that pettiness. I would highly encourage anyone to visit the gym and join the community!

I have always had a difficult time committing to any gym. I have tried many before and always failed. The gyms too big, the machines are always in use, the staff doesn't care, etc etc. When I saw the size of this anytime fitness location i was shocked by how small it was. Yet Michelle the director said it's one of the main reasons people like it. Personal, small, attentive. So i signed up, assuming i would try and fail like every other time before (i'm 48 years old so i tried many times in my life.) But i found it clean, very personal and the machines were always free. Customers would randomly introduce themselves, or offer to get off a machine if i needed it. It felt... like a family experience. Because i liked THAT i said, well hell, let me try a trainer too! So i got a trainer (Sophia) and she is amazing, pushes me yet pays close attention to my form and back pain (old injury), and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. They all take the time to answer random question or just say hello. I really feel like the staff sets the tone at a gym and they really go out of their way to make you feel like part of the family. I'm always happy when Katie or Alex, or Michelle or Cam say hey Christian! How's your workout? Or just BS with me like how's work or the kids? What are you doing this weekend? THIS personal experience has kept me going back for a month now, and i refuse to miss even 1 workout because i know i will hear about it from all of them. Going to a gym is like a second home, you WANT it to be intimate and personal with staff that really care about your results and your goals. I get EXACTLY that experience here. You can look at my previous reviews and know that i don't post reviews about anyone ever. I don't want my info on the web, but this gym changed my life......changed my drive to succeed. I won't fail this time, not with their support. Thank you Sophia, Michelle, Katie, Alex, Cam and Matt for making me feel welcome and wanted at your gym. I look forward to a very long and permanent relationship with you all! I will also note that because my family and seen my results and how i talk so highly of this gym location, my wife and 15 year old Daughter signed up too, and they love it!

Update:
Manager of gym is a weird lady who's a bit too aggressive and treat you with attitude.
I brought someone with me into the gym without seeing their note on the door that it's a $50 fine if you bring a guest. The manager called me many times then lectured me in person. I agreed to not do it anymore since at my previous gym it wasn't an issue. Then I went back to this Leander location once without issue. HOWEVER all of sudden I was blocked and cannot enter. When I called the lady manager, Michelle, says the system blocked me. She has unblocked me in the system but over the phone she was not nice at all. But that makes no sense , logically it sounds like a lie. I'm disappointed and won't be going back.
I also heard from other gym that this location is a bit racist, if you are not white and/or not a member of it (as home gym), they treat you poorly.
I guess I won't be going then, hope you are happy now Michelle 😂 changing review from 5 stars to 2 for this reason.
Original review:
5/5
I used to go to the one in Cedar Park (Lakeline) but the quality of that one declined after owner change. I discovered this Leander location. Must say I'm impressed. Private studio with TRX, clean bathrooms and even a hydromassage room!
Never too busy, not too crowded. My favorite location now

I was injured in the group fitness each time I took a class. This workout is just not good for me. They don't care - they want their money THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET OUT OF THE MEMBERSHIP IS IF YOU ARE PERMANENTLY DISABLED OR DEAD. READ THEIR CONTRACT! ALSO THEY TELL YOU IT'S ONE YEAR BUT IT'S REALLY TWO READ THE FINE PRINT! Nothing is ever their fault! The scheduling app never works. I was sitting in Michelle's office and even though the discrepancy was right in front of her face - the app said I was signed in the computer said I wasn't she DENIED there was a problem!!! Then she tried the, well it's only you no one else has this problem - as though I don't matter!! As I'm doing my research I'm finding out that this is a company wide issue. It's how they are programmed to behave. Sound familiar?? You can check out Anytime you like but you can NEVER leave!!! To get out of the Gym membership costs $3168!!!! I am now in the process of finding a primary care physician because the chiropractor who actually KNOWS me well his opinion doesn't count They are harassing me daily, sending emails, texts and phone calls which when I was paying and not going to the gym I NEVER received any phone call checking in with me to see if I was alright after one of their workouts. When you first sign up you have 2 DAYS ONLY 2 DAYS to decide if this program is going to work for you or not!!!! Ridiculous!!! There is no way to know whether or not you are just sore or injured from their workouts in 2 DAYS!! It took me 3 weeks and I realized it was their workouts that were causing me pain so that I couldn't sleep because of my back and hip. I am a former athlete, I am a ballet dancer, tennis and volleyball player and swimmer. I still dance (swing and salsa), swim and play tennis. For some people I'm sure these exercises are fine. THEY ARE DAMAGING TO ME!!!
They have an excuse for everything but notice NOT ONCE do they address the injury. They DISMISSED the chiropractor's form except now when they have decided it works in their favor. NOT ONCE was I told of the other options or pricing. They are on the run there is a class action lawsuit forming against them. They are predatory in their practice of presenting offers. I DID NOT sign up for 24 months I was told 1 year. Regardless all of this is moot - THEIR WORKOUTS INJURED ME. They do not care they will not let me out of my membership without paying $3168 and will put my account into collections to satisfy their greed. They DO NOT care if I am benefiting from their offerings or not. I will NOT speak with them because every time I do they dismiss everything I say and try to wrangle me back in. They DO NOT listen, they do not take into account that they injured me. Why in god's name would I ever want to be around or speak to people like that ever again???? It is a small gym it's not like I could go there and avoid anyone. It would be very stressful to have to go there just as a gym membership. They currently are charging me randomly without my permission whatever they have decided they should charge me. I am NOT going there I will never go back there again. This whole thing has been traumatic. These people employ deceptive trade practices and every agency that helps in this situation has been notified and they are NOT happy with how these people are doing business.

This location rocks. Great staff that really works hard to help people get in shape. I learned a lot from Alex. When I was having billing issues Michelle did everything she could and even escalated my problem to get resolved. Thanks y’all!

Friendliest staff in the world. Alex is an amazing trainer. All the equipment is well kept. Clean gym. And it's one of the only gyms that's really 24hrs.

EDIT:
Avoid this gym at all costs. This has been a freaking pain to deal with. I was willing to deal with a $90 final payment to be free of this and I am getting charged late fees for a membership I was told that I wouldn't even have once the $90 was paid. They haven't even drafted the full amount yet which I have been waiting for so why am I getting late fees and emails about getting in good standing on top of it?
This is absolutely ridiculous and I don't care if this gym is convenient for you or you think the people are nice. Just avoid it. I don't even live in Texas anymore and I am still having to deal with this absolute hot garbage.
To start off with, I can admit I did not use my membership near as much as I would have liked to. I got it with good intentions but right off the bat, I felt like I was being pressured to do things I didn't want to do, such as the training session to start out with. I got this membership as a way to separate my work day from the rest of my day and after eight hours of helping grieving families, I did not want to really talk to anyone else and I just wanted to be alone to process.
I ended up receiving at least a call every other day, leaving me messages about a session I had no interest in. So, I blocked the number.
On the rare occasion I did make it into the gym, I went later in the day or early in the morning. This was partly done in order to feel like I could go in without being accosted or anything, as the repeated calls made me feel like if I went in, I was going to have to talk to someone.
I recently moved to a different state and reached out to see about changing my home gym to a location here so that I could cancel in person and stop paying the $40 fee for a membership I am not using. I have previously worked for a gym so I totally get that there are certain things you have to do to cancel.
Once I mentioned cancelling, I got FOUR CALLS within a minute from this location. I was at work, where even if I did not have the number routed, I would not have been able to answer. I have attached a photo of this.
This is ridiculous. I completely understand that there is retention rates and trying to see what can be "fixed" to retain customers, but come on.
At this point, I just want my membership cancelled. I don't like being the person to make reviews and I typically go out of my way to celebrate even the smallest things that retail businesses/other businesses do right but this has just rubbed me the wrong way.
If you have stuck around this long, the facility itself is very nice. It's small and simple and exactly what I was looking for at the time.
It was clean and the hydrobed was lovely.
