We opened an account about three weeks ago. Our cards took over a week to arrive, and during that time I tried to go to the bank to cash a check (to be able to buy groceries) and they refused to cash my check because we haven’t had an account for over a year. So you will not be able to cash a check EVEN if you have plenty of money in your account for over a year. Then we finally do get our bank cards and activate them, and mine gets declined several times. I call to see what the issue is and they tell me my balance is 0, which it wasn’t but she said it should be working now. I try the card again. Denied, they linked my card to the wrong account and I had to call three times to figure out the problem. So now we have had the account for 3 weeks and I still can’t use my card until next week. Also if you deposit a check they take a week to clear in your account. When we called to address these issues, we are told all of this is “normal bank procedure” which is completely not true. Both of my parents were branch managers of banks my entire life for different banks. Not one of those banks operated this inefficiently. They obviously do not care about their customers or addressing issues. DO BETTER

Since the takeover of pnc their customer service is gone down the drain. The manager is nice and at least tries but the older teller lady is awful in every way. She is rude and not helpful. She explains things in nonsensical way and gets angry when you don't understand her. She should change careers.

It’s a 0 stars!Terrible service, and they plainly lied to me about the accounts and benefits I was getting.My debit card never came and I call 10 without being able to talk to anybody or get a call back.I’m canceling the account right at this moment.

I wish I could give them 0 star. Horrible service.Sorry, I don’t use Facebook or Twitter. Your customer service should have an escalation case. Please check with them and you’ll know what kind of aggravation your employees put me through for filling up a beneficiary form. I’m closing my account today because of 2 of your employees at this branch.I’ve never been asked for the status of my citizenship for service by bank employees where I have established accounts for decades.

I freaking called Leander, Texas branch 3 times and put me on hold for 10 to 15 minutes and then they hung up on me. Worst phone etiquette!!!

I love our Leander branch of BBVA! The staff make it a point to know who you are, they're very personable. The best thing is drive-thru is generally a speedy process here. I've never had to wait long on a transaction. This is definitely our preferred location to work with.
