Poor service ever from front desk people, especially a guy with long hair who is self-mumbling when I try to consult him the information of sign up for my kids. I feel disrespectful when I talked to him.I am sorry to say, it is unpleasant experience. I was planning to let my kids to have fun in there, but 3mins talk with front desk, I decided to leave.

Interesting place with multiple businesses on-site to include a large church that can make parking difficult on Sundays. One of the rooms doesn't have any seating, which is a bit of drag.

I was invited to a birthday party that included ice skating, party room, snowball fight experience and the service of staff making sure the client had everything for their birthday party going and flowing. Didn't know about this place and they offer a lot of activities. Its a big place with multiple rinks, seating areas, party rooms, and soccer fields outside. They had this cotton candy machine that makes cotton candy into certain shapes and you can choose. My grandson enjoyed that alot. He actually enjoyed it more than we thought. He had his grandpa going to check out the different hockey games going on and watching the people ice skate. Note: it gets cold in there because they have to keep the ice frozen so bring along a warm sweater or jacket to be comfortable especially if you're usually cold. I definitely recommend this place. They also have a special events and public skating times. I plan I checking out one of those events. Im glad we had the opportunity to check this place out.

The Crossover is a facility specifically designed for sports, wellness, and entertainment. The Crossover is home to Ice and Field, which offers ice skating, hockey, curling, ice shows, and lessons. Off the ice, the facility features an in-house gear pro shop and skate maintenance services, including skate sizing, sharpening, and gear. Further, the facility offers climate controlled indoor sports and fitness facilities as well as both natural and synthetic outdoor fields for year-round use. Beyond sports, the facility has a full bar, food trucks, and a small cafe (on the ice skating rink side). I hosted an ice skating birthday party for Thing Two a few weeks ago. The party was part of a birthday package this location offers that can be found here: iceandfield.com/parties-…I opted to add the private lessons for the kids as well as the snow ball fight after the party ($525.00 total, not including the tip for the party host I left). The children at the party had a blast on the ice, but I did have a slight issue with the snowball fight. The "snow" was what was scraped up by the zamboni machine after the public skate. The snow was placed on the backside of the building for the kids to play in, however the snow wasn't roped off in any way so we as the party hosts/guest had to continue to tell others who came outside to play in the snow that this is "paid for snow" and not for public use. The private skating lesson was marked off with cones, and therefore, I assumed the snow would be the same way, but this was not the case. The pizzas for the party were not pizzas made at the location but were pizzas that were ordered from Dominos. For the price point and what was offered, it is on par with other venues that host kids' parties.Check out Gnet A's review of this location from a party guest perspective dated Nov 26th, 2023 (she was a guest at Thing Two's party). yelp.com/biz/ice-and-fie…

My cousins 16th birthday was there over this past weekend it was an absolutely horrible experience they didn't have enough skate sizes for everyone in the party and they didn't put nearly the amount of effort into the party as they should have seeing as my aunt paid 425 plus dollars for a 2 hour party in a tiny room with no decorations and 4 pizzas and 2 things of soda it was not worth the money at all and the employees there handled everything horribly.

Overall a great place for family and friends, one of the only places in Austin you can go ice skating.

I went for public ice skating. The cost is $12 to skate and $6 to rent. They only give two hours of public skating depending on the day so if you show up late you won't skate for long. They also charge $5 every 30 minutes for the plastic skate helpers. They do not smooth out the ice during those two hours so you are skating on uneven ice making it easy to fall. There was nobody monitoring skaters to make sure they were skating the same direction which results in kids skating right in front of you and doing hard stops. It's generally dangerous especially for younger kids.A skater fell hard on the ice and was laying down while others tried to help. I didn't see an employee offer assistance and it was other skaters trying to help so if you fall or get injured, there may not be anyone to help you. I think it's too expensive for skating up to two hours on uneven ice especially if you have kids.

Not a bad place overall, I went for a public skate. When I got there I was greeted by employees who didn't seem to want to be there. The rink was a tad unruly as the was no staff member watching the floor. I had fun despite being my first time on ice (normally I roller skate)
