Very consistent and Judy advised me on anti-flea collars which I greatly appreciated as a new resident of Central Texas. Both my dogs are older, and Judy isn't shy about raising an issue if she's concerned. Note to new clients: Judy has hearing loss, and when she has a shop full of dogs, the barking sets off her hearing aids non-stop, so if you call in the middle of the day, it may be a challenge for her to hear you. She's amenable to texting and very responsive.

We have been going to Judy for the last 4 years. She does the best job at grooming our golden doodle. She runs a business with a purpose and clearly loves dogs. I respect that. The negative reviews about her attitude are comical. This woman loves dogs, loves her job and is straight to the point. If you can’t handle that or want special treatment, go somewhere else. If you want your dog cared for, groomed well through a consistent & reliable business, choose Judy! She’s friendly to us - so maybe it’s a personality thing.

Crazy Judy does do good cuts, so I’ve dealt with her rude remarks for the past year, just petty stuff, but yesterday I went in at 5:30 to see if he was done, they close at 6, and Judy made a Im going to cut your throat signal with her hands to me! Guessing my poodle wasn’t sitting good ,I could him him crying,I went to my car and waited. When she called and told me I could come in now . To my surprised she was flaming mad!!! She said my dog slapped her glasses off her face because I came in. Granted I made no noise and theres a wall between the grooming station and where you come in . Dogs sometimes use there hands like human and my dude gives face rubs. I tried to explain? They do hurt sometimes:). I apologized but she went on, don’t you have a phone…,!Taken totally by surprise now realized she was signaling she was gonna cut my throat because I came in not because my poodle was acting up!I did start recording her! She was acting very aggressively so I got my dog paid and got the heck out of there.. now my man is safe back home I’d love to tell her about her rude mouth. Also charged extra!!!!

I do NOT recommend this business. The owner is incredibly rude and insulting and does the bare minimum. NOT worth the money or brain damage.

Very rude, condescending, and unprofessional. If you want friendly, quality and informal service go else where. They charge for services they cannot complete like plucking ear hair and trimming nails. The owners dont seem to be dog friendly people to be running a place like this.

This lady, Judy, and her daughter are beyond rude and unprofessional. My dog has had a similar experience as many others described here. Please save yourself time, money, and frustration. Not only do they charge you for services not rendered, your dog will be traumatized as well. Go to a reputable grooming establishment that arent angry and take it out on the animals.

Very unpleasant and unprofessional. They should change their profession to car sales.

My dogs first went to Judy's grooming in maybe February or march. It's hard to recall the exact date. They usually see a groomer every 6 weeks but due to some medical issues in our entire family (including the dogs) and their groomer having to cancel and then not answering the phone for weeks, they were very behind. I was so ashamed of the shape they were in by the time Judys grooming could get them in as new clients and I told them as such. I told them I didn't really care what the cost was or how they looked after, I just wanted to get them in better shape so they could be comfortable and that I'd love for them to start seeing someone every six weeks. Fast forward to the end of march and my father had two strokes so my dogs and I were out of state caring for him for quite some time. I'm finally home and settled in and had the capacity to call and make an appt. Judy, or whoever answered the phone was incredibly rude. I'm actually floored by the way she spoke to me. She sounded pissed from the moment she answered the phone. She asked their names and I told her twice, each time I guess pissing her off more because she couldn't hear/understand me. I offered her my phone number so she could locate our account to which she rudely told me no. She asked for my last name and I told her. She said (in a very hateful voice) that she remembers me. Claimed I was a no show on April 17th. I asked if she had texted a reminder of the appt and she exclaimed "YOU DIDNT ASK ME TO TEXT YOU!" Right, I've actually never asked any vet, groomer, doctor, hairstylist, literally anyone to text a reminder/confirmation but they do. I tried to remain nice. She rudely reminded me that IM the one who set up the appt when I picked my dogs up; which wasn't true. I didn't pick them up. Maybe my husband booked it when he picked them up, but I certainly did not. Also, I was in Oklahoma with my dad who had just had strokes, so it 100% wasn't top of mind. Which is absolutely not her responsibility and she couldn't possibly know that. But maybe this could serve as a reminder to not be so incredibly hateful to people so quickly. She then went on to remind me of how horrible my dogs looked the last time I took them in. Which again, I was completely aware of. I was so ashamed and felt so much guilt for how much matting they had which I expressed several times. But she had to rudely point it out again. Then she informed me she isn't taking new customers and since I was a no show I would be considered new. Honestly, jokes on her. She couldn't pay me to ever book an appt there again after the way she just spoke to me. I deserve better treatment and my dogs definitely deserve good treatment. Anyone willing to yell at someone the way she just did likely has anger issues. Can't imagine she'd treat my dogs any better. Thankful to have had the experience so my dogs aren't in the hands of someone so horrid. Reviews on google are okay. Reviews on yelp show how absolutely rude and horrid this lady is. Eventually this type of behavior is going to make this business go under and they'll question where they went wrong. People may not remember what you said or did but they'll always remember how you made them feel. So any time some one in the area asks for a groomer, they'll be directed to this yelp page so they know how they and their dogs will be treated. Which I guess works out since she's not taking new clients. (You can also look at how she is responding to customers on here to see exactly how rude she is). Customer service holds a lot of value and is a large part of running a business. Judy's grooming needs a very intensive course on the topic.

I took my 7 month old puppies for nail trims. She was mean to them. They are 3.5 years old now... Still can't get their nails trimmed.

I took my dogs here a few times for nail trims, every time they looked terrified leaving and Rou my 90lb pitbull/lab mix would literally s*** herself every time this lady trimmed her nails. Long story short, 2 years later my dogs still won't let me touch their nails, have to be muzzled, and are visibly upset for hours after. Not to mention the owner is very rude

Love this place. The most reasonable price in town to get my pups nails ground!
