Quest in Leander, TX 78641, should properly train their employees before they place them in the field to take blood.

Clean, speedy sign-in, short wait, and the nurse was not only proficient, but so very friendly!

All the Quest locations in Austin area are obviously understaffed and the staff seems overworked too. There is no receptionist and if you do see a worker they intentionally put their heads down to avoid questions. No one greets you at the door and all we are met with is a login kiosk, if someone isn't tech saavy forget about it! I went to 3 different locations to try and get my blood drawn and none of them were accepting walk-ins. The walk-ins that were already there had to wait entirely too long to be seen, and the offices are small and cramped full of people huffing and puffing because they had been waiting for such a long time. The only good thing about the service is that I had an appointment and once my name was called I was done in 5 minutes.

The team at this Quest facility is fantastic. Unfortunately the appointment I scheduled on-line did not show up on their calendar or check-in kiosk. They were able to accommodate me without much of a delay.

I had a good experience here. Checking in was very easy. I was able to use my phone, although they do have a kiosk that allows check-ins in the office. I was able to track my place in line from a screen that showed all of the checked in patients. The staff members worked together well. While my phlebotomist was going through my papers, a coworker needed help, and shortly after, she had a question, which he helped with. My phlebotomist did a good job with my blood draw--hit the vein on the first try (thank goodness!). She was also friendly. The location was clean. And there is ample parking in front.

Needed to bring a fecal sample by. I cannot drive and I'm on surgery recovery. I sent it with my daughter and no one even acknowledged her. They had several people waiting and they refused to take the drop off sample so it's in the trash outside the front door as my daughter didn't want to take it to work with her and they already made her extremely late. Quest is trash! I wouldn't bother. Can't even call and talk to anyone. The lady refused to talk to me even through my daughter's phone. Cool! I'll just wait for the next hospital stay rather than relying on a place like this.

I would give a negative rating if I could !! Had a worst service, super slow and rude. Waited three hours there for nothing. They really need to work on their employee trainings, customer service.

The ONE person they have staffed is very friendly. However, I had an appointment and I’ve been sitting waiting for over 30 minutes. They took someone who arrived after me first because “he had to restart his computer.”Staff your location or close it. This is unacceptable.

Quest Diagnostic Blood Draw on Wednesday 11-08-2023 651 N US Hwy 183 Ste 155, Leander, TX 78641 Clarissa needs training on how to properly draw blood. She prodded with the needle for two minutes causing me continuously high pain in my right arm just to tell me she did not draw any blood. I was well hydrated and my veins in my arm are highly visible and easy to draw blood from. It has now been over two days and my arm still hurts at incision point from Clarissa probing me with the the syringe needle. The picture is of my left arm two days after the blood draw that Clarissa went to after being unsuccessful drawing blood from my right arm. I never had any bruises or issues from dozens of blood draws over the last 30 years. In fact I been complemented many times on how visible the veins in my arms are and how easy it is to draw my blood.

Parisa is AMAZING! Not only is she so sweet, she knows what she’s doing. I have small squiggly veins and have been stuck multiple times just to do bloodwork. I’ve gone to Parisa multiple times and she has not had to stick me more than once. I will be coming back!!!

Don't expect to be seen even if you come in 5 hours before closing, even when they have little to no appointments. Was an hour before closing after waiting 4 hours and was told to leave because they were no longer accepting patients. Fast forward to today, I was there before everybody and was shooed off by a Latino woman with 0 patience because I had to have a form sent over.

Close to home. Easy to schedule on line, great communication via text messages and no wait time. Technician was friendly and efficient.
