Fatima was outstanding! She helped me open a new account for myself and my two grandkids! I haven’t experienced that kind of customer service anywhere lately much less a bank where so many seem to dislike the customer experience. I may have found a permanent home for my banking.

I already love this bank! I started my small business account with them (first time business owner) and was absolutely clueless at first. Kerri has been amazing with walking me through the process and taking a lot of the stress off of my shoulders. As someone who has always dealt with big banks (Wells Fargo) I would 10/10 recommend giving Southstar your business. Truly amazing experience so far.

I was excited to switch over my business accounts here.. but 1st visit: (guy in the back office tells me he's going to get back to me regarding business CC info) NEVER did. Then i call to inquire about setting up my business account, she said manager would call back. NEVER did. I'm so sick of chasing people. I was so hopeful to work with this bank. & its frustrating when ppl say they'll call back and don't.

They are always so friendly. I feel like they actually know me. Transactions are quick and easy.They also offer community events in the lobby, like storytime and costume contest for neighborhood children.
