I sent a prescription with a dispense volume for 10 days and patient only received the medication for 5 days and had to come back to clinic a week later and pay for another appointment, because he was worse and required an additional round of antibiotics, when this could have been prevented if it was given for the proper duration. I have had several issues with Walgreens when sending medications, such as requiring DEA number when its not necessary for the medication prescribed, resulting in delayed treatment and extra work for the patient and myself having to send to a different pharmacy. I haven't had these issues with any other pharmacy.

Pharmacy is kind, but they don't actually check to see if your medication is "ready". They will say so just to get you off the phone resulting in a wasted trip.

The young man who is the manager of the Walgreen Store located at 6635 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX, is a wonderful and caring individual. I drove by this Walgreen Store in order to buy a few things. When I completed my shopping and was about to leave, I discovered that my auto door key would not open the door. I thought that I was going to have to call a locksmith, but your young manager came to my rescue. All I needed to do was change the battery in the key, and in a flash, it was done.I want to thank this young man for being so caring, and I want to thank Walgreens for having such a wonderful individual as an employee.

Limited pharmacy hours, especially on the weekends.That's superinconvenient, given that illness and injury isn't limited to banker's hours.

After going on a goose chase around town, pharmacist prepared my prescription, and then arbitrarily withheld it. Decided he wanted to call my doctor to verify... AT 730 PM when the doctor obviously won't be there. They hid behind the counter whispering forever. You're screwing with people's lives by making it harder than necessary to get the medicine they need to live and function.

They called me that my prescription was ready. I went thru the drive thru and was ignored completely so I went inside to the pharmacy and a guy told me they would be with me in a second so I sat down. Then he proceeded to help three other people and eyeballed me every time someone walked in before me. Bad customer service period. Like my time isn’t valuable or I didn’t have two other pharmacies to go to to also pick up my medicine. I switched to Walgreens because I thought it was convenient and closer to where I live. The first Walgreens on Medical and Wurzbach couldn’t even fill three of my meds all that’s why I had to drive out of my way. Screw this I’m going back to Walmart, better service period! Bye Walgreens! ??

Went to get COVID-19 vaccine. 1st dose I had to wait an hour. 2nd dose I show up an hour early to my appointment and was told to wait. 2 hours have passed. My appointment was at 4. It's now 5 pm. I've been here since 3. Another store shut down and sent all their patients here without notice. So they are very busy, just go to a different location. Otherwise nice staff :)

Horrible service staff and does not improve when more staff is hired. Between the cashier who seems annoyed when you want a bag for a card you have bought on behalf of a friend or a cashier who can't tell you that you need $0.27 more for the coupon she is keeping to be qualified to be used! And the pharmacy staff is worthless. Staff asks private info to be spoken aloud for all to hear, took 15 days to fill a script called in by MD and asked me the same questions 3 times when I went for my covid shot. This used to be a good store & it's close to me but it has REALLY gone downhill. DON'T go here.

Called in a prescription and left a message on the doctor's voicemail twice. Both times the pharmacy told the customer that the script was never called in. When I called after the second voice mail left the tech basically called me a liar laughed like this was funny. She asked me to hold on the line and not hang up this time. I hung up after the first voicemail was left because I told her I would leave another voicemail. This time the pharmacy thought it would be very amusing to leave me on perpetual hold for 10+ minutes. All the while the customer was in my office to witness exactly what kind of customer service this location provides. Needless to say the customer had me call the script into a competitor and I will no longer call in anymore scripts to this location. I hope the pharmacy tech and pharmacist really got a laugh by leaving me on hold?

Worst pharmacy ever. Nothing but constant problems. Can’t wait till I get new insurance and can go back to cvs. A new problem arises every single month.
