I'd like to send a heart-felt THANK YOU to Misty who assisted my son this afternoon with his vehicle registration transaction. For reasons that don't require elaboration, it's sometimes difficult for my son conduct certain transactions without assistance therefore I usually handle them. Unfortunately, I live out of state, so I unable to do so today. I called the Hockley County Tax Assessor's Office, and I was blessed to have Misty answer my call. I explained the situation and she told me exactly what documentation my son would need to provide in order to complete his vehicle registration process. She even volunteered to personally help him whenever he was able come into the office. I was so worried what he my experience after reading several negative reviews, but I no longer had concerns after speaking with her. Misty assured me that she was there to help, and she did just that. My son called me after leaving the office and I could hear the relief followed by the excitement in his voice. He said "mom, I'm done." I was shocked and even more shocked when he told me that Misty even came out of the office, scraped the old sticker off, and replaced it with the new one!! If that's not great customer service then I don't know what is. Misty, you're the BEST, and I want to publicly thank you for going above and beyond your duties today. THANK YOU MISTY!

The workers here are worthless. Had me standing for 10 mins while they talked amongst themselfs…only to finally be helped and them tell me they cant help me … give all the wrong information over the phone and the rude lady says “were all trained” and that im a liar bc nobody would give me that information. Maybe they should be trained in customer service bc they didnt even give me a chance to say I need to change address information before saying I needed to go to a county I no longer live in to get registration!

Went in to pay my property taxes and it was the most unfriendly experience ,the lady was on the phone when I came up to window,she told the person she was on the phone with that she had a customer and motioned at me,I gave her my paperwork and money when she was done she gave me my receipt got BACK on the phone.She never spoke to me,no hello no thank you no good bye....What the Hell !!!
