After calling 5 other Bandfields locations for a same day appointment, this location was the only one that actually took the time to work me into their busy schedule. Understanding my immediate vet needs they accommodated my pet.Dr. Gonzalez is a very good veterinarian. She takes her time performing examinations and provides the best medical advice without running unnecessary labs.I have been a customer of Bandfields since 2019. At $180 a month for 2 health wellness plans, this is the only time that I have felt that I received my moneys worth for the services provided.

the wellness care plan is great it’s just not great when i’m paying all this money for my dog to not get treated. The staff is extremely rude, the so called male manager was the worst he showed no empathy or care towards me AND my fur baby. She’s a pitty she might come off a bit scary but the staff was treating her like a big monster you’d think if you work in a vet clinic you’d care for all breeds regardless. I understand she’s a bigger breed as well so i was ok with giving her the medication to calm her before visits but this male “manager” insisted on upping the dose after it was already adjusted she was prescribed trazodone.. they want your babies to be out cold just for shots then she wakes up throwing up bc of how heavily medicated she was i felt so bad putting her through that. My very first visit was great the vet allowed me to comfort my dog in the back without ANY medication no “manager” telling me i cant be with her. I won’t be taking my baby back here these people are cruel i can only imagine what they do to the poor babies in the back i don’t trust these people please take your baby anywhere other than this banfield!

I have to start this out as a qualifying statement. Any Vet puts their reputation on the line every day for our Furry Family Members and they should be commended on that. I use Banfield for my pet because we carry pet insurance with them. My experience is that this is a corporate environment. It will not be like a one on one relationship with the Vet. You get different ones each time you go and therefore it makes for various levels of care. Sometimes the Vet are caring and attentive and sometimes they are rude and not nice at all. So get to know the Vet you are scheduled with. My last time here, the Vet was very good and showed a lot of empathy for my pet. Past visits were not nearly as nice. So if you use them, get to know and ask questions about the Vet or "vet" them online.

Mae, Tina, and the team here are always so helpful with our pets, especially our very high strung and high anxiety dog! They take amazing care of them and are always happy to see us when we come in. Thank you for all that you do!

Over two weeks, I brought my dog to this hospital twice. I needed to have my dog examined and vaccinated because my dog was sick. Dr. Gonzales prescribed my dog a medication that caused it to foam at the mouth severely. In response to my concerns about my dog's reaction to his medication, the hospital responded that he didn't like the medicine. Despite my dog's severe reactions to the medication, the vet recommended continuing to treat him with that medication. Another time, I dropped my dog off at the vet for vaccinations, and it took five hours for the doctor to see him. My dog's doctor seems to not care about my concerns and refuses to answer my questions. Not to mention, I enrolled in their healthcare plan, but my dog is not receiving the care he needs, and there is a lack of accountability and transparency among staff members. Some staff members are excellent, but my experience hasn't been good, and my dog is still dealing with issues that haven't been addressed during the last two visits. I had several staff members write questions to the doctor that have not been answered, and when I go to the hospital, the doctor refuses to speak to me in person. Someone who has paid hundreds of dollars for services and a health member should be able to communicate and receive the best treatment possible. Some of the staff members are dry and lack empathy. After my last two visits, the doctor would write notes that were difficult to understand instead of giving me a proper aftercare plan. The doctor would list medications or recommend prescriptions I don't understand as if I'm a nurse. Additionally, there was no offer or explanation for why they were recommending the medication. Overall, I felt like I was being rushed and not given the care my dog deserved. The doctor wasn't taking the time to explain anything or listen to my concerns. My dog was just another number on a list. I probably won't be going back.

My dog jumped out of my truck and messed her neck and back up. The poor thing is all jacked up, that being said the staff at this location was very caring and kind to my dog. Thank you.

The staff is friendly, but I took my dog for the annual check up (just vaccines) I don't know what happened but they hurt my dog in the ribs, he didn't want to move for 3 days and they told me that he had a dental infection and he needed a tooth removal and try to sell me the dental plan.I went to another clinic and my dog didn't had an infection only need a dental cleaning. It's like they just try to sell the plans ($$$ that are expensive $$$) not taking care of the dogs.I'm not coming back.

This isn't my dogs usual Banfield but I needed a same day appt and this one had several openings. The staff is friendly and thats why 2 stars and not less.I've been avoiding giving my dog the lepto vaccine and always say no when asked. At this appt they asked my partner if he wanted them to give her the lepto vax and he said no, he would rather leave the decision up to me.(Edit after calling them) even though my partner said no he wants to leave it up to me, they still put it in the paperwork they had him sign. So technically he did approve it but through very shady means by the vet office.I won't be bringing her back to this Banfield. I'd rather wait for an appointment at her regular one. I've learned my lesson.

Brought my dog in a week ago, was told it was just an upper respiratory infection. Not even a week later, dog died from congenital heart failure. It was something that could have been fixed, if this first visit had diagnosed that something was wrong. Now my dog is dead, I’m out $1,000 from going to another vet, and know that we could’ve prevented it if they had found it sooner

Worse service ever. Very difficult for them to answer the phone. Very difficult to get to speak directly with a vet and they have sent other veterinarian employees call us to let us know a diagnosis and when we have questions these people would say they dont know that we would need to ask the vet but the vet is always “busy”

Best Banfield. Staff is friendly and will accommodate many requests. They share knowledge and help you arrive at the best decision for you and your pets. I have an American Shepherd who is terrified of the vet, but we’ve been allowed to come to the office for treats and hellos to help him calm down. This is only one excellent example of the lengths they’ll go to help you and your pets.

The staff was great and I'm sure she recieved good care but Olive was sick and throwing up and the soonest appointment I could get was a drop off appointment so I never met the doctor and was told by the front staff what they found was wrong. My issue is that when you drop off your pet they cage them for sometimes 8 hours before they see them. I know this is for their convenience as they don't have to deal with appointments and can see your pet whenever they feel like it. I think that's just awful and now need to take her in for an ear infection. Do you know it takes weeks to get an in person appointment? I'm left with no choice but to keep cleaning her ears and crossing my fingers it doesn't get worse. I'm on their monthly plan so I can't switch for awhile but will be taking her elsewhere. So sad that don't care enough about your pet to treat them better.

I had the worst experience.I took my two dogs because one of them had worms and I spent almost $500 on consultation, exam and medicine for bothone of my dogs threw up the medicine and my boyfriend called the clinic to ask if they could make another one available.the `manager` was extremely rude, soon after my boyfriend called again and a girl answered and said he could go there and they would make the pill available for free, he left work and went there, when he got there the 'manager' said he wasn't going to give anything away for free and that we would have to pay $75 for ONE pill.bad attitude of the people who work there, they are extremely rude and unfortunately they only think about money, they don't care about the dogs' lives.I will never take my dogs there again.
