I came in last week needing a copy of money orders purchased from this location and received them the next business day! The money orders were also purchased almost 6 months ago, and I’m also not a customer of the bank. The staff was friendly, quick, and easy to talk to. Thank y’all so much!

I'm really happy to have this bank account. It's right next to my apartment and setting up and account was easy and everyone was very friendly. The best part is all I have to do to avoid a monthly service charge is make 8 transactions with my debit card or keep $100 in the bank. Neither of those options will be a problem for me. The first day I had the account I was able to log in to my online account and the app and use Zelle to pay a family member back. I also received a couple checks until my check book arrives which is exactly what I needed. Also they have a change counting machine in the lobby that will count all of your change for your and it's Free...Sold! I saw there was only 3 people complaining about this bank in the reviews so I wanted to leave my opinion. If I ever decide to leave this bank and I have problems I will update my review but being a new customer I'm satisfied.

Horrible experience trying to send money through Western Union. After waiting nearly 30 minutes, mostly because of the incompetence of the employee Carolina and Edgar, we had to cancel the transaction because they wanted to force me to give out my social security number, in the middle of a busy day. Management really needs to look into what's going on at this branch. This whole time, they were laughing and talking in Spanish and chewing gum. Very very unprofessional to say the least.

I don't like to be unreasonably negative. This review is not directed at the customer service employees because they are only doing their job. This review is critical of the processes and procedures this bank has. First of all, you cannot call a branch and speak to a manager which is frustrating and just plain inconvenient. And to be honest, why even have customer service agents? Anything outside of what the automated information you can get about your account, customer service can't do more than that and will tell you that you need to go to the closest branch for further assistance. Then you go to the branch and you get two different answers and told you will be called back and it never happens. With covid still running rampant, it's nice to take care of things online or over the phone if possible. I had an incident where a family member did a mobile check deposit with my check on my phone and then deposited the same check again which triggered a fraud alert. This caused my mobile deposit to be denied. That family member no longer lives with me so I called to have it reinstated. I was told by 2 agents after waiting on the phone for assistance for 15 minutes each call that it was enabled but it wasn't. I was told to reinstall the app. Did that, still not enabled. Went to the branch the next day. One agent said that the fraud alert means I can never get mobile deposit abilities again. The manager then said that she would check and call me back but never did and didn't write my account number or phone number or anything. I like this bank because it's in Walmart and so am I every week. I just don't understand why getting transferred to a branch manager is not allowed. It's frustrating to be on hold for more than 15 minutes to then be told that I have to go to the branch and STILL not getting help after making the trip there

I have had a mostly positive history with First Convenience with the exception being this location. The staff here has been rude and inappropriate on multiple occasions.

Beware of this place. I opened a checking acct there in June or July 2019 with $100. Checked it out carefully before doing so. Saw that the bank states that they do NOT charge senior citizens any service charges. Would not have opened an acct there otherwise. Wrote one $10 check shortly after I opened the acct. Decided in November 2020, I would close the acct since no longer lived near this location. Was going to just transfer the $90 balance to checking acct at different bank. Had to go to bank to do this in person because unable to access via computer. I got msg unable to find my acct. Even called bank and after being on hold for SEVERAL minutes, I obtained an access code so I could log in. That didn't help. Balance $90, right? NO. Found out that they have such a thing as an "Inactivity Fee". They say that they sent me notice about this in July 2020, but because I did not try to the stmts each month, I was unaware of this charge. Why should I look at the stmts when I knew I had $90 in the bank? They couldn't have MAILED me a copy of the letter about the "Inactivity Fee"? When the teller handed me my $55, I told him that he had made a mistake. That's when I learned of the $35 Fee! I was so shocked, I just left. I have since contacted the bank about this and their attitude is "so sad, too bad". I have never heard of a bank charging the customer to let them use your money! You have been warned.

I opened an acct. at this branch location in May or June of 2019 with $100. Wrote one check for $10 shortly after that. Never used acct. again. Would get notifications of stmts on computer but did not look at as I knew I had $90 bal. No service charges because I am a senior citizen. No longer live near this location so decided to transfer bal to another bank. Unable to access stmt. on computer. Got msg. settings not correct. Called bank's helpline the next day. Obtained access code. However, after I hung up, still could not pull up the acct. Got msg. none could be found. Drove over to bank. Showed teller the checks I had purchased so he could see acct. no. He pulled up the acct. Asked me if I didn't I want to leave open as there were other branches could use. . Told him no. Wanted to close. Mentioned several times that balance was $90. He then counts our $55! I told him that was a mistake. He then told me that I was being charged a $35 "Inactivity Fee"! So shocked I just turned and left. Could not believe that after bank had use of my $90 for over a year, the were going to charge me $35 for NOT using the money! A one star rating is too good for this place.
