This store has gone down hill since I was a kid. I grew up in Highland Village and was there when this store opened. It used to have a Dunkin Donuts, more check out lines, look clean, and look stocked with supplies. It seems very grungy dirty now and lacking in supplies. Though some of you may say that is every where, that is not true. Every week I go to WinCo the shelves are completely stocked. I wish this Walmart would get back to the quality it used to be.

I am so embarrassed by this cake for my son's birthday. The photo speaks for itself as far as the look of the cake (jagged edges of the design sheet and icing on top of some and under the other part. SLOPPY.) We asked for a cake to feed 24 people. We got the absolute tiniest cake imaginable. One of my guests had just ordered a cake as well and she said the size we got was for 10-15 people. I was so embarrassed to serve this. But it did taste great. UPDATE: we received a very nice call from Walmart regarding our complaint. They offered sincere apologies and explained that they had a new employee. They offered a full refund. We are very appreciative of their prompt response. I just wanted to prevent this from happening again to someone else.

Beautiful Walmart ! The outside front entrance was something to behold. A big pecan tree in a sucken-in-area with a little walk area. Inside the Walmart was exceptionally clean and layout eye appealing. Lots of employee checkout stations along with self checkout stations. Yes, a typical Walmart, but the front entrance sets this Walmart apart from most.

I don't understand why Walmarts are all closed so early in the evening. Am I just supposed to starve? How on earth does this possibly make sense as a precaution against COVID? As of Nov. this Walmart is still closing in the evenings. Obviously it's just because they don't want to pay like two people to keep the store open. The least that they could do would be update their online listing so when I ask Siri if they're open she doesn't say, "yes," but of course they're too lazy to do that either. OPEN YOUR STORES! It isn't complicated!

If I could give zero stars I would. I'm 7 months pregnant trying to stay safe from covid by ordering grocery delivery. The last two orders I have placed have had severe issues causing me to need to go into the store anyway after both deliveries. First order- an entire bag of groceries was left out of my order-milk, orange juice and beans. The second order I needed a jar of marinara sauce, and even though I selected allow substitutions I was given zero marinara sauce just because they were out of the brand I ordered. Literally just needed any jar of marinara-not that difficult. I am severely disappointed with this service.

Well I mean it's a Walmart . Blue vest , goofy looking shoppers . It's like going to the zoo but with decent priced crafts and home goods all in one place . Big parking lot , carts you know Walmart

Inventory had been disappointing for months now. Serious lack of basic items. A female family member was stalked heavily in the woman's clothing section by a male during the day.

Patience is in short supply. 2 hours wait for curbside grocery pickup.... No order. Cars jumping in front of one another. This place was a mess and not worth it.

Shop somewhere else if you have the option! The managers Frank, Theresa, and Jimmy are awful at their jobs and do not know how to manage the store with regards to COVID-19!

In store is not bad...normal Walmart experience. However, grocery pickup and also grocery delivery are terrible. Whomever is in charge of logistics and scheduling needs to be replaced. Constantly overbooked and late on pickups. Today we ordered delivery and the store is now closed and we still have not gotta our grocery order. We even called the 800#, and they said they would look into it and call us back, but we never heard from them. Terrible experience.

First off, I'd like to say I've never had any issues with this store. With that being said, tonight was horrendous. I tried to buy some groceries along with some food for my baby and was denied the opportunity. While checking out, the cashier was adamant about physically holding my ID in order for me to purchase a case of seltzer drinks although I took it out of my wallet and showed him multiple times. Without getting too close considering we are supposed to keep a 6ft minimum distance I tossed my ID for the gentlemen onto the scanner. The cashier became irate and wouldn't ring up the rest of groceries which was only a tub of formula for my baby. I asked for them to call a manager and that's where the story goes from bad to worse. While waiting, the cashier wiped his face and mouth with his hand and upon me asking if he wouldn't mind changing his glove he refused. A manager named "Frank" then walked up and when I explained the situation he told me to leave the store. I asked why and he didn't have a valid response. The lady in line behind me mentioned how crazy this was starting to get and her daughter started to record the situation. They then called for more managers which ended up being Theresa and Jimmy. I explained the situation to them and we all went back and forth. I pleaded over and over to please just let me buy my baby's formula along with the groceries that have already been rung up. After a couple minutes of back and forth they agreed to it and then asked me to join them in the customer service area. Upon walking over there Frank was standing there and I happened to give him a glare considering everything he had put me through. He then complained to Theresa and Jimmy that I got in his face although all I did was walk past him with my cart and glare at him. Theresa then refused altogether to let me purchase my groceries and baby formula and called for the police to escort me off the premises. I understand that times are scary and stressful right now, but there is no reason why I had to experience this type of behavior from this store. To make it apparent for me not to be able to purchase food for my family, especially my baby during an epidemic is absurd! The people involved here in my opinion should be let go or at least have to go through extra training because the way they handled this situation was wrong. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!!!

Horrible customer service, Ken should not be working with customers. He repeatedly told me he couldn't help me because he couldn't understand my accent. I was being reasonable with him & he said he didn't even want to deal with me and told me his manager would be speaking with me. It's not how long you're taking to repair my by bike (also super slow service) it's the way you're dealing with your customers. The things you have to deal with because you're a bilingual speaker, pathetic.

I agree this is not the Walmart that first came to Highland Village. We were told it was always going to be well maintained and nice. Similar to Central Market we were told. A unique Walmart we were told. Nope, not anymore. The super bright harsh lights all over the store. The produce section is like walking in a tanning bed it's so bright. Not the farmers market feel before. The flooring removed with just concrete left showing there was once flooring. All the "central market" feel has been stripped and now sterile cold row after row. The merchandise not being reset and slung all over the shelves. Some shelves and displays are just a hot mess. Very disappointed in the bait and switch. You can do better Walmart.

No longer the up market Walmart we first loved when it moved in to Highland Village. Miss the special lightIng in produce area. Anyway it has changed to just the same as any other Walmart nation wide thigh it is still cleaner than most. Disappointed!
