Phoenecia has got to be one of my favorite places in Houston. It serves literally any need I want it to. Coffeeshop? Meal on the go? Bar? Restaurant? Between the main part of Phoenecia and its attached Mkt Bar, it is ALL THERE, and ALL DELICIOUS! There are products from all over the world so you can totally be an international explorer and get really creative while you shop which makes it a unique grocery experience. I particularly enjoy their coffee bar where I tend to grab an afternoon pic-me-up of delicious Turkish Coffee. If in downtown, wandering around, pop into Phoenecia and wander around the world!

Wonderful, wonderful! Get food to prepare for latter or eat now. This place has a deli, bakery, restaurant , wine, olive oil, and friendly staff. This place is great for large groups with mixed dietary restrictions. You can get the deli foods, or go to the middle of the store and get food made to order and eat it at front of the store. The other option is eating at their sit down restaurant. They have many speciality Greek foods as well as a variety of other things.

I highly recommend this market. Their hot food bar is delicious and they have breakfast and lunch there. Lots of great baked goods and snack food.

I love that Phoenicia is on the first floor of my apartment building! Convenience can't be beat, for sure. I picked up a few of their enormous brownies for a party, and they were a huge hit. One chocoholic guest declared them to be "perfect... rich and chocolatey yet fluffy." Another said they were amongst the best she's ever had. In addition to an impressive array of baked goods, all made in-house, they have a nice selection of prepared meals plus a salad bar. I did deduct a star, because some of the items that I selected for my lunch did not taste fresh, but I'll continue to try other offerings. This place is certainly a foodie funhouse!

Loved it! I stopped by with a colleague to pick up lunch and inquire about catering services. The place is a bustling mix of grocery store and eatery all in one. Pros - GREAT customer service...Lots of international food selection...awesome baked goods...hot food line...big salad bar...even bigger olive bar...dips,spreads,pitas...a butcher and so much more! Cons - Location...downtown Houston...I don't care to go downtown during busy hours if possible...packed during lunch hours...parking garage is free but not easily navigated if you have a large truck or SUV. Prices are good and servings are plentiful. Ask for a sample if you dare to try something new. Take it all in and enjoy.

I come to a convention for several days each year and stay in a hotel next to the convention center each time. While there, I eat all of the Phonecia I can, multiple times a day! It's SO budget friendly, the people are nice, and the food... the FOOD!! You can buy food from the deli, hot bar, cold bar, salad bar, bakery... there are so many unique and delicious items to try. On my most recent visit there, I checked into the Hilton Americas and made the 5-minute walk to Phonecia to get their lasagna. You get a potion big enough for two, a big Caesar salad and a hot buttered garlic roll for - drumroll please - ten dollars! Try beating those prices in downtown Houston! I have them heat it for me there, and then I take it to my hotel and dig in. Because of their variety, high quality, service, price and proximity, Phonecia will always be my go-to!

I love this place. Homemade pita chips and hummus are my go to! The pesto hummus is so good! The bakery and coffee shop have such great selections. Ground chicken kabobs are very good to cook at home. Summer time by the pool with pita chips hummus and a glass of white! So good!

Great place, very nice inside. Has some really great items you cant find at another store. However, there were some things you cant find such as lentils. I also was hoping for some prepared beef meat balls and i only found chicken which isnt a bad thing was just hoping for more options in the meat department. All in all it was great and i will go back again.
