Frank and crew did a great job repairing the transmission on my Honda Civic. It's running great now. I hear from many friends how other repair shops either don't fix their issue properly or they experience a new issue that was working fine before the repair. After many years I can say I've never had this happen with Transmission Exchange. Frank has always been honest and open with all my repairs.

im a mechanic myself and after getting my truck back from having the transmission rebuilt at transmission exchange in liberty tx this is what i found:
list of loose bolts on my rebuilt th400:
- 3x transmission cross member
- 2x transmission mount
- (all) transmission fluid pan
- speedometer housing clamp
- 4x tail shaft case to main case
- both driveshaft carrier bolts (causing the driveshaft to partially fall out and try to shake me to death)
- 2x flex plate
before a vehicle is returned to a customer any shop no matter the specialty does (or should do) a "bolt check" where you go through every nut and bolt you touched and make sure they are tight, secure and if needed torqued to spec' because at the end of the day people life's are on the line. it looks like this was not performed on my truck, i don't much care about my truck, i can fix loose bolts and missing washers, nuts ect. but i worry about anyone else who comes here who's not mechanically savy and is put at risk of harm. maybe the guy who installed my transmission has been fired by now. i sure hope that's the case. maybe my case is a fluke from an amazing shop, but that's what reviews are for.

Took a little while for them to start working on my car that’s understandable I just wasn’t made aware but Frank is a super cool guy. His daughter works the front counter. She’s super cool even gave me a military discount. My car went into that shop messed up and came out perfect thanks Frank.

I asked him to change ALL of my cylinders. He changed one so that I would have to come back and get the rest changed. More money. I had the money for all the cylinders and spark plugs. My car is no better than it was when I let him fix it.
