Love this organization! Stopped by campus and had so much fun. I will say they could definitely improve the drinking water on campus though.

A great organization they bring medical treatment and surgery and Medical Care throughout the world on the two boats they have and hopefully they'll have more they bring doctors nurses counselors teachers they have everything on board these ships that you can think of that they need to do the work that they do and their work is bringing doctors to places in the world that don't have them they're gone for 3 to 10 months at a time they go places that a lot of us would not want to go or have not been they bring the medical care and help throughout the world this is a great organization to donate to we have donated to them for many years and we do highly recommend if you want to donate money Financial or items to them they are very good one and they can use volunteer help if your doctor or dentist medical provider they can use your help if your teachers they can use too because the people that work on the ships their families are on there too so they bring their kids so they still got to bring them education on it too and if you are an ex sailor or worked on boats and all that they can use your help with that too they can use all kinds of volunteer help here no little bit is too small we highly recommend that you look into this organization for one to donate to to give you time to and to keep in your prayers thank you

I've been donating to this organization for nearly a year now. They are doing things that I don't have the courage to do. I think it's amazing that the individuals/crew stay on the ships months at a time, to help bring medical attention to someone in another country.Awesomeness! ❤️

If you're looking for a REAL nonprofit charity that's well worth your donations, then you owe it to yourself to hunt down and watch National Geographic's "The Surgery Ship" series; it will show you EXACTLY where your Mercy Ships donations are going to work: African people — impoverished or wartorn innocents —with no access to medical care, beset with disfiguring, crippling or even life-threatening maladies, and Mercy Ships' surgeons, physicians and nurses go there and give them their lives back at no charge.Once you watch Dr. Gary Parker remove a ghastly five-pound tumor from Benin native Julian's jaw and give him his face AND his life back, you'll know exactly what Mercy Ships does on a daily basis. You can even specify where your donation goes: specific crewmates (like Dr. Parker there), specific kinds of patients (ie. babies and children), specific operations (ie. cleft palate surgeries), et al, if you wish. And yes, your donations to MS are tax-deductible whenever tax season comes around.

Saw ads on TV and thought that they were providing a good service to people in dire need. Decided to help by posting a monthly auto payment through my bank. What I didn't know is that these clowns sell your information to other organizations looking for suckers. Or at least someone who would donate to their cause. Now I am being bombarded with letters from all over the world from people asking for money, when I need money myself. I know it was these unscrupulous idiots because I wasn't receiving any such solicitations until I started donating to them. I have therefore stopped my donations and will get back on the no solicitation list and give the small amount that I can afford to an honorable organization that will appreciate it and can be trusted with my personal contact information. Should be ashamed of yourselves because, ultimately, it is, once again, the needy that will suffer. Shady at best.
