This store it's way better than Walmart when it comes to produce and dairy. It's amazing how you can get more for Less at Brookshire over walmart. We now know that some products are more expensive at Brookshire than Walmart, but that doesn't stop me from shopping at Brookshire.

Love Brookshires, I'm hoping Walgreens don't run your business off. So far the transition sucks. Gonna have to find a new pharmacy cause I can't even get any filled here! I normally grocery shop when I pick up prescriptions but we will see since I got to go somewhere else now.

The sushi is great there, especially when specially ordered and the deli is great. The husband and wife that run the sushi department go out of their way to make sure you get what you want and the deli will go out of their way to translate if needed. In the picture it's the same order. Brookshires is on the right. Better quality and bigger portions for cheaper than any other sushi restaurant in town.

This store is a mess. Never stocked, customers are rude, definitely my least favorite location. It’s worth the extra time, just go to Tyler. Three stars because the pharmacy is always timely and helpful

I love this store they have anything and everything. The employees are super helpful and friendly and if you shop wisely they really aren't that expensive.

One of my favorite grocery store chains in TX, the food is so much better than Walmart !!The have more varieties of things and in my opinion the experience of the consumer it’s just better, more quiet, people friendlier and a easier place to navigate. The only criticism I have is that more could be in Spanish, for me it’s not an issue but for older people I see how it could be.Regarding the parking, there’s a lot of room and is easy to park

Great store. Not the biggest, Some fair prices, some are a bit expensive. But overall they will have what you need and with great customer service.

Brookshore reminds me of the grocery stores of the 1970s, when the staff actually cared about the quality of the store. Produce is always fresh, and they do a fantastic job of selling new product when it comes into their store.Case in point,... right now is 'green hatch chili pepper' season. Brookshire bought a huge amount and is pushing it in their stores, along with instructions on how to roast/clean/cook it. As a result, I bought some, followed Brookshires guidance, and am now 100% on board with green hatch chilis. You get points for purchases you can use on petrol purchases, the bag-boys walk you to your car, and every single employee is eager to help. I used to go to Walmart down the road, but last year decided to pay a fraction more and now Brookshires is my jam. So, why am I only giving it 4 stars instead of 5? This Brookshires USED to have a great little 'clearance bin' with meats & sandwiches at a Reduced Price. They seem to have done away with that, and the only 'clearance bin' is 2-3 feet of shelf space with garbage on the end of one of the aisles. There is never anything good there, and that section of the store is the worst-kept and least organized part of the store. It's like a 1990s K-Mart clearence bin, with items just dumped in and randomly priced.

I’ve been a lifelong customer of this store, but every since it’s been under new management, the customer service has gone way downhill. Curbside pickup has been terrible the last few times, but tonite was the absolute worst. No response from the store during my pickup time, no answer to texts and no answer to my phone calls. I drove up to the store and found out my order hadn’t even been started (this is at 8pm). Apparently they were running 2-3 hours behind but no one had updated me. The store was basically empty and employees were standing around talking. They’re always out of EVERYTHING as well when I place an order. I’ve always paid more for their good customer service but it appears that ship has sailed. I shop at the Tyler Brookshire’s often and never have these issues. Apparently, this Lindale store has some major issues that need to be addressed.

People are kind, store is clean, but the meat department smells awful. Just awful. It is a very strong and almost ammonia smell, like meat or seafood liquid spilled under a cooler and was never cleaned up. I like the store and people, I just hold my breath in that area!

Theresa the manager does not take care of her employees. One employee said she does not help or find coverage for employee breaks or lunches. I've been a customer for years. Employees are underpaid compared to industry standards. The employee retention is also terrible. Pay your people and take care of them.
