The girl who checked me out yesterday was smoking her cigarette right by the door to the entrance and I could smell smoke in the store!!! Two ladies who worked there were talking about their own personal business as I I was checked out!! Very unprofessional!!!

The staff is friendly, but the store needs to be renovated or rebuilt. The layout is funky and the aisles are very narrow. It's old and dreary looking. Lindale deserves better.

I placed an online order for pickup later in the day (3 toiletry items). I received an email confirmation. Two hours later, I received another email telling me my order was going to be late. Two hours after that I got an email telling me they had cancelled my order altogether...no explanation as to why! I went to the store and spoke to the manager, asking why my order had been arbitrarily cancelled. The manager blamed it on the DG app and said the order never got sent to the store so the system cancelled my order after it, basically, timed itself out. Give me a break!The manager I spoke to did not look like a manager...sloppy pants and a grey T-shirt. Not impressed!!!

I give it one star because there isn't a zero. Was in the store and someone left without paying because it took to long for help to come. The store is always short handed and never organized everything is in the wrong place with the wrong price. U want people to work but u want pay them well this is why your store looks a hot mess. The people are nice but over worked.

If I could give it a zero stars I would !! Every time I go in this store it’s nasty and product stuck any and everywhere. My last visit I got a whole box of nuts off the $1 isle. Get to the register and they did not ring up a dollar ( now mind you there were 2 boxes with individual products in these boxes). So I asked well what’s a dollar over there then. I was told whatever is on that isle. Well sir these items were on that isle and you are telling me they are not a dollar. Cashier began to be rude as I got rude back. All while another employee was sitting behind the counter laughing. I asked for the corporate number they refused, asked for the manager information they refused, asked them both for their names they refused !! So I guess they just get to be rude and treat customers any type of way and get away with it. Sad world we live in. !

Not a very clean store, usually empty on shelves and slow to restock. You will find trash in the aisles, and employees slow on their moves. May even find spiders too.

Stood at counter to be checked out. A plastic chicken had a sign “Squeeze for assistance “. I squeezed twice. And the blonde girl just ignored me and continued talking to vendor. Finally got her attention and I let her know I squeezed it twice. She said well there is another worker there. I said I wonder where she is. She said “She’s probably working AS I WAS! Like I interrupted her. Hummm. Makes me wonder who is more important vendor or customer.

Great location, very helpful and friendly employees, they have public restrooms and are very clean. However the store always has carts in the isles to be unloaded. It makes it difficult to maneuver shopping carts and to see what's on the shelves

supposed to be able to use digital coupons and paper coupons took paper coupons said digital coupons would not apply This is a scam I will not patronize another Dollar General ever again

They usually have what you need. Great freezer section and food choices. Also have bedding products. Don't forget your digital coupons. Download the app if you haven't yet. Great deals.
