I was impressed how clean the women's restroom was at this Shell Station along US 59 in Linden, Texas. I even mentioned to the friendly cashiers how much I appreciated an immaculate restroom. They offer all the convenience store necessities we look for when traveling or just need a snack. Many types of beverages in the cooler cases, clean soda machine, beer, wine, sandwiches, lots of snacks and food options, few cleaning supplies, over the counter medication, sovereigns and more. The isles were clean, clutter free and well organized. The only problem I saw was the ATM wasn't working and impacted several customers. Waiting for a pump isn't an issue here with 14 pumps. The pumps worked fine and even had paper loaded for receipts if you didn't need to go inside. Window cleaner buckets were filled and towel dispensers loaded up. The parking lot was clean and tidy. Nice Shell Station to stop at if you're in the Linden area.

Not to be confused with a Shill, which is not a good thing. This is a pretty good mid-price gas station close to the 59 East Texas Highway, and is a station where a lot of cops usually hang out - I'm not really sure if that is a good thing or not but you can draw your own conclusions. Prices are usually somewhere in the middle and they have restrooms 24 hours inside along with all the usual convenience store immunities. They're very very nice restrooms hence the 4 stars. And lots of places to sit and eat or hang out, too.

CASHIER REAGAN was "intentionally" RUDE today! Approaching the register, I said, "Hello."; and her response was to look away in DISGUST... I then casually said, "How are you?", to which she replied, with what sounded to me, like an abrupt GRUNT! After the transaction, I gave her the opportunity to redeem herself, by politely saying, "Thank you. Have a good day!" - to which her response was, silent, as far as "words" go - though she made an OBVIOUS statement, by SHOOTING ME A DIRTY LOOK, AND ROLLING HER EYES! WHY, Reagan? (We don't have any negative history, as I have never met you before!) I was nothing but a New customer - and a "polite" customer, at that! Why, REAGAN, did you feel the need, to try to spoil somebody's day??? The other employees there, seem to be civilized, and I was actually somewhat impressed by this particular Shell gas station, immediately PRIOR to meeting you! (Wish I would have gotten the other cashier!) To the franchise owner: Please reconsider employing someone, who not only refuses to provide your customers with decent customer service; but in addition to that; someone who will literally DRIVE AWAY new customers! REAGAN is obviously a "problematic" employee... If it was not for REAGAN, I would have probably rated your gas station, four or five stars! And just in case you're not aware, Google Maps, statistically these days, has a *major" impact, on whether or not people will stop at your establishment! And the numbers are growing! So lastly, to those who need to make a pit stop' PLEASE CONSIDER, THERE ARE SEVERAL ALTERNATIVES, LOCATED, RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE SHELL!
