Love healthy paws and their staff— Dr Heathcock has a wonderful demeanor with our cattle dog and takes the time to explain everything from diet to potential issues. Vet care can be expensive and they always give costs ahead of time and options which is great for everyone. They stayed well past close on a Saturday completing tests on our pup- you can tell very dedicated staff and doctors

The staff is amazing! I have a very young baby and a very large dog which gets hectic. Today my dog was sick and they helped me get the pup in and out of the car, helped me carry the dogs food and meds out and were so accommodating when the baby cried or needed my attention. Such a wonderful group of ladies going above and beyond for my dog and me!

Healthy paws have been the most amazing vet for my puppy. The vets are friendly and thorough. Ace loves to come to the vet, and the staff is so welcoming and warm. Thank you for giving the best treatment for my furbaby. They figured out and caught his Pannus (an autoimmune disease of the eyes and can blind them) before it got bad and were able to save his eyesight. I am so grateful for keeping my furchild healthy!!

Had a great experience here! I brought my dog here for the first time yesterday just because they opened the earliest and were the first one I could call after I noticed weird allergy related issues with my dog. They got me in for a same day appointment and were very kind and affordable. My dog has seen plenty of vets for allergy issues and every time, the exam alone cost $hundreds and the treatment they recommend is just impossibly expensive. When I can’t pay for the meds, the other vets usually list off too many alternatives I can try to keep count of before showing me to the door. Yesterday was the first time I had an in-depth conversation about my dogs allergies with a real vet. They made me feel very comfortable to ask the many, many questions I’ve had and answered very thoroughly. They were also so patient and kind with my dog, every vet she’s seen has told me she snaps and growls and needs to be muzzled but the staff at healthy paws praised her for being such a good, sweet girl. I figured other vets being kind of rough with her and ignoring her cries and anxiety was just them being professional or something but it makes sense that once she’s treated with actual respect and care her extreme anxiety at the vet goes away. On top of all of that they’re the most affordable vet I’ve been to, at least for allergy injections. Her exam (which was much more in-depth than the glance at her scabs from itching other vets do) was under $70 and the price for the same injections I’ve been offered were half or even 1/3 the price I’ve been offered from other vets around little elm/ frisco! I had to check if it was the same type of medicine I couldn’t believe how much cheaper it was. All in all, this was the best vet experience me or my dog have had and I appreciate everything they did for us!

I have lost confidence in this clinic. Raised prices so much thar our well visit cost 333 dollars only to be told our dogs meds were 117. 87 on Amazon. I asked about Farmers Dog food and she had never heard of it. I felt like I was gouged at every turn. Moving my pet. Way too expensive for the quality of care.

I have been bringing my dogs here for the last couple years and I can not say anything negative! They always get us an appointment super quickly. Office staff is always so kind and helpful. Dr. Cole always takes her time and gives my pets excellent care no matter how busy she is that day. All of the vet techs are always so nice (there is one man who always goes above and beyond with kindness to my dogs, treating them like his own and if I remember his name I will update this later). I have never had to wait even a second in the lobby. As soon as I check in they immediately get us back to the room and are seen very quickly. The office is always so clean and nice. I've had emergency issues with my dogs in the past and they immediately got us in and were able to fix the issue. If you are looking for a wonderful practice where everyone seems to actually care about animals and treat you well then you have found it. Oh and they are reasonably priced for the area, not the cheapest (but DEFINITELY not even close to the highest) but for the level of care they offer I am more than willing to pay the price!

Can't say enough about this place. Doctors are the best. They are truly involved with the animals. They want to make life for animals healthy and happy. Never, ever do they overcharge and work with your budget. But most of all. All my animals love going to the Vet. They know all of them by name.I can't thank them enough for their service.
