Overall fun cable experience. Only issue was paying for 2 hrs of wakeboarding and for some reason they were having trouble with the cables. So a solid 30 min was the staff taking care of the cables and everyone just sitting and waiting. Friendly staff fun environment just would like to get my moneys worth. It was multiple times this happened throughout the 2 hrs and there were about 15+ ppl waiting.

As someone with prior wakeboarding experience I enjoyed the park but would caution anyone who is unfamiliar with wakeboarding to start out. There was very little instruction given and little time to move out of the way of either other boarders or an incoming rope cord once you crash. One lady from the group I was a part of actually crashed into the side of one of the ramps and none of the instructors came to check if she was okay. Fortunately she only suffered a minor scratch on her leg but regardless I would rather have someone learn in a lake or at the very least a larger body of water where there's more room for making mistakes.

Best place to have a family day, tap bar next door and Mexican food down the street, I always come and hang out, read a book or just watch the sun set after riding

Had a terrible experience at Hydrous water park. The normal training section/ cable wasn't working. It would be nice if they would have just let us know to reschedule and given us a refund. Instead they put us on the regular course with the guys that are already great wake boarders. They put us with a 15 year old trainer that just yelled at us and even told us later that another guy was a better trainer. My daughters can both wakeboard at the lake but they couldn't even do it here. One of the guys practicing told them to speed up the course. I was hoping my family could get some actual training so they would feel more comfortable behind the boat but now they dislike it even more. I would not recommend Hydrous.

Summer camp has been really fun for my 11 y/o and they have a nice patio with a breeze so you can sit and watch. Level of instruction has varied greatly depending on who’s working, but my daughter has gotten the hang of it just from a week of practice. They also go on the inflatable floating playground every day and it looks like so much fun! We will be coming back for more.

Very cool place, that honestly should be busier than it is. Good beer and food, outside seating with views of the action. There is a large outdoor water pad / playground that looks like a lot of fun.Give this place a try!

It’s a nice place with very good experience, The staff staff training new clients seems nice and worn give up till the clients are happy and actually able to surf. Not the same case with the girls working inside the shop. They either didn’t help or don’t really understand everything about wakeboards. My main issue with the park is the dirty water that don’t seem to ever be changed or recycled. The water is stinky (not sure if it’s coz of the chemicals they might be using) but it’s a great turn off. You can smell the stench of it from meters away from the main hydrous park.

I think this is my 1st negative post about one of our adventures.….On Saturday we went to Hydrous - Lake Lewisville for a private 2 hour wakeboarding class. We were supposed to be in a private training area with a coach for 2 hours. We arrived and a nice young man helped us get set up with life jackets, boards and helmets. He then took us to a shelter area by the lake.We were by ourselves for a few minutes while he very briefly went over how to wakeboard. The line was getting longer to get on the cables so we just followed along not really knowing what we were doing. We were instructed a little more as we were waiting for our turn to connect to the cable and the other line of mostly very experienced guys were within a couple feet of us.The 1st few of us that went out did not know what to do when we fell. It was a little scary floating around in the lake trying to get back to shore with guys zipping around. The people that work there are very nice but I am disappointed we did not get the experience we paid for. Some of the ladies only tried it a couple times and one just left as we got started. It was a lot more difficult than we imagined but could possibly have been made a little easier with the right instruction. It was an adventure but not one I will be planning again for our group.

Just did a private 2 hour group for the home school group we have and it was great. The kids had a blast and the park workers were helpful and friendly. Best part was the Tap house literally right there. Cold beer and good food. Today was a success.

Awesome group of guys over here at Hydrous in Little Elm. I was speaking with Brett about the park and the features of the park and he was very informative and eager to answer questions about everything from safety equipment to each obstacle out on the water! The other staff where super rad in helping out everyone there especially on the cable getting guys riding on the water within a few trys everytime! Water was nice and warm couldn't ask for a better spot to shred a little?
