This location is starting to disappoint. Previously cashiers were consistent and helpful. Recently I have seen new faces that are constantly face down stuck on their phone screens and have on two different occasions declined to honor advertised pricing on items. You go to checkout, they verify the add is displayed and then tell you that they must’ve not updated their system and can’t honor it.

It's a rubbish scratch ticket site. Every time I redeem a winning scratch ticket, they say I can only redeem the scratch ticket without cash. I only have 150 cash and no money。

So I came in to buy something quick. When I came in I had three empty racetrac cups to fill up with ice. The guy named muscle who is also the manager looked my way as I was coming thru the door. I got my ice went to the register. Attempting to buy something from behind the counter. I asked him to ring up my items separately as I was purchasing lottery tickets as well and wanted to use cash. He rung up my item and as I was paying he added on 3 cups of ice and proceeded to get the lotto. I was like sir sir, these are cups that I previously paid for and you saw me coming thru the door with them why did you charge me. He said well there’s nothing I can do about it we don’t give refunds. I said can I speak with the manager. He says I am the manager and goes in his pockets pulls out a crumbled dollar and throws it in my cup holder. I said what you charged me for was more than that. He said, well we don’t give refunds, then rung up the lotto. I said can I have my money back, he cancels out the lotto and rings up the ice again I guess to refund the ice and throws the receipt on the counter. I said what is that for he says that’s your refund. He didn’t put my card info in or nothing just gives a receipt. That money could be going anywhere idk. Then he hurry and grabs the receipt before I could and goes back in the register and gives me back the money I spent. And starts rushing for me to pay for the lotto. I said no thank if that’s how you treat customers I’ll inconvenience myself and go somewhere else. That was very very rude Mr muscle and for you to be a manager of racetrac makes me not even want to go here anymore when I’ve made racetrac my go-to for the past 6 years I’ve been in Texas and I visit this location at least twice a day. I guess some companies just give anybody a title without proper training.

No issues with Race Track at all. Never had any gripes. They're everywhere and convenient. Staff is generally always friendly.

So sad but guess all the new kids and their generation or whatever trauma camy figure out how to clear a pump for gas and the third time yea I went beyond frustrated but if you are new on a Saturday pay attention to the line of guests and register over opening a box. And new time the comanage who is also in without a new tag , should not threaten to call the cops over me suggesting the helpful tip. But yes I did leave while saying an unkind word. Still frustrating 20kins to get gas at a gas station. Instead of saying oops I hit $0 instead of $10 and being accountable he said I would have to go somewhere else. Why would you even say that? No excuse for me getting on their low and incompetent level but at that point he was going to learn how to clear the pump and put the amount.
Shame there are so many wishy washy out there who just can't say I'm new and forgot the 1

I had the pleasure of visiting RaceTrac recently, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations for a convenience store.
