Terrible experience tonight at Five Below at the Forum. I came to exchange a broken Christmas toy purchased at this same location less than 30 days ago, with ID and original payment method. The initial cashier—a red-haired young woman with glasses and a large pink bow—was sarcastic, dismissive, and incorrectly stated they “don’t do refunds,” refusing to call a manager and telling me to wait or leave.
An off-the-clock employee had to intervene to get a shift manager, who later confirmed the correct policy: the purchase could be looked up for an exchange. When I asked for store leadership contact info and the cashier’s name to file a complaint, the cashier refused to provide it, said “write me up or fire me,” and walked out of the store.
After reading other Google/Yelp reviews, it’s clear this cashier’s behavior is a pattern, not an isolated incident. No one should be fired, but immediate customer service retraining and policy review are clearly needed.

Went in did some shopping. When it was time to pay i did a split tender put 5 cash first then credit. The machine didnt register the $5 the manager has to count it instead of checking the camera. On her way back she procedes to talk to her fellow employees cracking jokes while I have to wait on her. When I said something she rudely said its the process. Not good customer service

We visited this store a few weeks ago. My daughter purchased a gift for her sister. Upon opening the gift the gift was practically empty. I took it back to to the store and asked to speak to a manager. The worker refused to give me the manager’s name so I contacted corporate to report the situation. Today the manager gives me a call and says “I can’t force them to give you a name ma’am”. The manager’s name should be public information so you would know who to contact if there is an issue. He seemed nonchalant when I asked him so the store workers can refuse to provide manager’s information so who do we report problems to if they should arise. He said well now you have my number and I’m the district manager. Very unprofessional! If I could give 0 stars I would.

Lovely place with a huge selection of items at a great quality for cheap!
I accidentally left my items from another store and they were kind enough to hold my items there and gave them back to me when I returned. Would give 10 stars if possible.

HORRIBLE. Bad customer service. The girls in the front saw me and just kept talking for TEN MINUTES. Didn’t even address me or tell me where to pay or anything. I waited a few more minutes before finally saying “are y’all open?” Then they just laugh at me. Definitely won’t be recommending anyone here.

What’s the point of self checkout if I can’t checkout my own items? I asked the worker if I can scan my own items and she told me no she had to do it. Yet there was another woman scanning her own items. It’s a Monday there wasn’t a line behind me so I don’t understand the reason behind this. If you don’t want people checking out their own items then remove the SELF checkout and put normal registers.
