I was highly upset when I told the stylist to cut a few inches for my daughter and she starts with a huge chop. I took her there thinking it would be okay since all I wanted was a straight cut with a face frame. Easy enough. But no! Then turns out she gave her under layers as well which were really short. Now if I put her hair up the bottom is too short to go up. What made her think I wanted layers for my daughter’s hair? I never said that. If you go, please tell them exactly you want, every little detail. That was my mistake and I won’t be going there for my daughter anymore. They seem to cater to boys and men anyways.

Wasn’t going to write a review. We came in early Sunday morning 6/29/25. My husband came in and my 2 year old son. My 2 year old son is scared of getting a haircut because one time someone nicked his ear at different salon. The lady who cut my son’s hair acted awful because first of all she seemed bothered she was cutting a kids hair. She was an older lady with black hair. My son was freaking out and as I was trying to calm him or help her hold him because he doesn’t know her she snaps and says she has it and tells my 2 year old “ bro it’s not that bad calm down “ She left scratches on my son on his back from holding him too tight and in the back of his neck. We won’t be coming back, we’ve had great experiences before but this lady was awful. EDIT TO ADD: Receipt says her name was JAMIE

If I could leave a 0 I would. My 7 year old daughter went in excited to get her hair cut and I told the “stylist” NOT TO cut her hair to her shoulders. NOT TOO SHORT. She didn’t even confirm with us before cutting, or asking if the length was okay before chopping it off!! I had showed her and told her where to cut. So yes she was AWARE. Tell me HOW she cut my daughter’s hair ABOVE THE SHOULDERS. A JAGGED UNEVEN cut. Don’t bring your kid here. We left crying.

I can tell that They love what they do by just the smile on their faces when people walk inside. Very positive energy. Very thoughtful and kind. My favorite new Great clips! Coming here all the time now when I’m due for another haircut. 😊

Took both my step sons to get haircuts. We have been here once before and it was fine. But this time was NOT! One of my step sons has very uneven hair and the fade line is all the way at the top of his head. And to top it off they had the nerve to charge us for adult cuts and not child's cuts (they are 8 and 9). We did not notice this until we got home and I looked at the receipt. We will definitely NOT be back!!

I personally do not get my haircut at Great clips but my 3 year old has. We originally would take him to children’s haircut salons but he would throw violent fits and the whole experience became unbearable. I thought maybe he was just overwhelmed by the amount of sounds, colors and lights in those kind of establishments so I took a chance and started taking him here. For the first time ever he sat by himself in the chair and sat for the cut without crying, throwing his head around or pushing the stylist away from him. I genuinely thank the women who have serviced him for their patience with him and for helping us to finally get him looking like a well groomed child. We will continue to come here in the future for all his cuts

I took my husband here earlier this morning and this young girl named Maria really messed up his hair and kept making excuses for it. She was very rude. I asked to speak to the manager and she said doesn’t know who that is because she “goes everywhere”.
My family comes here all the time and this has never happened. If there is someone in management I can speak to? I thought Mal or Sarah could help since they cut my boys hair all the time. But I didn’t see them. I’m not trying to be a Karen I just want to get his haircut fixed. Help!
