Do not go here , you sign in and sit for an hour and then they give you a beat up Tesla. After you return the car , your charged 614.00 for the week which is ok , but after a week they charge your card again and hertz talks smart and don’t want to refund the extra fee . Bad business, also the waiting area is nasty.

I never recommend this place. My rental car which I rented from hertz broke down close the this location. When I called hertz customer care they asked me to go this location to pick an another car. But the lady who working at that time treated me so bad. She said “you didn’t take the car from my location so I am not responsible to give you a car. When she said ‘ no’ I asked my receipt which I gave to her because I wanna call customer care. Then she said if you take that receipt ‘you have to leave the office. Then I came out. I never recommend this place.

I received perfect customer service from Courteney and Angel! I rented a car super late and they did their best to get me one on a weekend! Fantastic service and will always come back to this location. A++ service!

My experience with Hertz was amazing! Angel is attentive and renders great customer service. They were busy the day of pick up and attended to every customer with tact. After dropping my rental, I had no transportation, Angel made arrangements for me to get back to my destination. I am now a loyal customer!!!

If I. Could give zero stars I would. The staff is very disrespectful and combative. I made a reservation through Expedia and they tell me all they have is an electric suv. After showing our reservation she goes to repeat that’s all I have and Expedia is not accurate now mind you I have been booking cars through Expedia for several months and never had a problem with Expedia but today was totally different. I left and made another reservation through hertz for a car and when I went in they said they had none and that their own website was not accurate either. After disputing it and wanting an answer that made sense she tells me to get out and they are refusing service. I don’t know what happened to common courtesy and respect toward others but hertz definitely does not have it. Do yourself a favor and never go to the hertz live oak!!!!!

If you are renting here,cancel if they make you take an electric. If you can't cancel, make sure the rental is at a FULL charge.Ridiculous that they rent cars out without a full charge, they change your reservation, and don't even ask if it's a short or long journey on if an EV is even viable! This caused way too much stress and money. Rent somewhere else!I reserved a gas car purposely, as I did NOT want an EV car. When I arrived at Hertz, the manager (?) changed my rental to an EV and was raving about wanting an all electric fleet and how he changed other people's rentals to EVs as well.I needed to drop someone off at the austin airport just for the day and knowing it was a long drive was worried about the electric range. The car given for me to rent was NOT fully charged and ended up not giving me enough power to go to and from the airport. To my surprise, I couldn't find any working charge stations around Austin. I had to drive around in the Texas summer, with no AC, for nearly an hour to conserve the battery life long enough for me to finally find a working charging station. Now I have to stay in the car for hours more, long enough to have enough charge for me to even make it home.Not only do I have to wait a few hours just get home, the car won't be charged enough when I return it tomorrow and I will have to pay a ridiculous $35 fee for the car not being back at half "a tank" of battery.

Car was filthy. The girl said her coworker was driving it and proceeded to collect his belongings out of the vehicle. My husband said you should never show a customer a dirty car and her reply was well you asked to see it!!!! Not oh we will clean it up for you BUT you ask to see it. Hertz is HORRIBLE!!

We needed a rental while our car was in the shop for repairs. We went inside this Hertz to the sight of two employees, giggling and chatting. No one greeted us. We sat down when one of them finally looked up. Clearly we were interrupting her conversation. We also needed to use their restroom and were told they don't have one. They said we "could" use the one at the next building but that one was closed for another half hour as well. So we ignore it and wait for our rental. When we finally get the rental, it has not been washed or vacuumed for a long time. There were clear fingerprints on the back windows even. Dust and dirt everywhere. The inside of the car was horrendous and there was some oil layer on the inside of the front windshield. I asked if they don't wash cars anymore for rentals and the kid said they don't have the manpower. Yet I clearly saw him sitting when we arrived. If you don't want to help clean the cars, just say so. Don't expect a good or clean car nor good service when you rent from here.

I we should have read the reviews before going there. Our motor home broke down in Wichita Kansas. They only vehicle they had a tiny chevy to rent. We went to this location to upgrade the vehicle to a slightly larger one. The manager tried to talk us out of upgrading and finally offered up a vehicle. It was filthy dirty, inside and out. When I brought it up he said “Oh well”. Their lot was full of cars. So many that there was no customer parking left. PS, now renting from enterprise and budget.

I ALWAYS USE ENTERPRISE OR BUDGET and after my first experience with Hertz, specifically THIS location, I will never use them again. I needed a rental for a family road trip, walked into the UBER door and was treated rudely for them to realize I needed a conventional rental. Why are you guys rude to any customer no matter the type of service being provided?? Constantly got put to the side, for other customers walking in while I’m sitting at the desk! Took me an hour to recieve my retal and I was only 1 of 2 customers ????????????, I cant make this up! This first experience will be the last!

I have a nightmare as an Uber driver renting a car in hertz! The car broke and lost a day of work and they want me to go to pep boys to see what’s going on. I couldn’t work and they didn’t want to return my money for that day! Also the staff is very mean, they don’t try to help at all the customer . $388 the rent for a week!!

If you are active military, please run from this store at least. Was allowed to reserve a rental same day and took my uhaul w me to pick up the car. To find out they don't allow same day reservations. Save your time, money, and a headache. In sales side of this I got yelled at for parking the uhaul in the only available spot as well. Horrible tact and professionalism from all the staff.

Horrible experience got the insurance with them, my car was hyjack and the customer service couldn’t help the police do a gps search. Once I came to the atore to get a different one they told me the contract was close and that I needed to pay again, I could not work doing uber for 2 days because of the inconvenience and they couldn’t help me. Ladies at front desk are rude and don’t help. Manager Meghan doesn’t help as well. They left me on foot.

The young "lady" that works the front desk is the rudest, laziest POS I have ever met in customer service. She CLEARLY hates her job. First time I dealt with her, after I mentioning I received conflicting info from the reservation specialist, she walked away and did not return for 20 minutes and simple said "Can I help you?" Second encounter, I had a pick up of 4pm and got there at 4:01 pm, literally! She was already standing outside the locked doors as I asked her about my reservation. She stated they are closed. I said it's 4:01, and her reply was "Yeah". I asked how can I have a 4pm pick up if the doors are locked at 4pm and she said "you can't" and again, walked away! Mind you, she was ALREADY OUTSIDE. If I showed up 60 seconds earlier, I still would not have been helped. I'm sure she would find another job if she could, perhaps management should give her some motivation. She is horrible.BTW.. This is the Uber rental desk of Hertz that deals with Tesla rentals.

Quick and straightforward process getting a rental car. Brandon helped me out getting me setup and left his personal contact info just in case there were any questions or issues with the vehicle. I even extended my return rental date by a few days over the Memorial Day weekend no hassles at all over the phone. Don’t believe every negative review and see firsthand for yourself. Great customer service in my opinion!
