About Jay's Car Wash/ self service

Jay's Car Wash is a self-service car wash in San Antonio. It is described by some as a favorite and the best in town, with a well-kept facility that is always kept clean and in good repair. The business offers multiple bays and vacuums, with the option to pay using quarters or credit cards. Positive reviews note that everything works, the equipment is reliable with no leaks or breakdowns, and the change machine always functions. There are towels available and the vacuum cleaners do not stink. However, other reviews indicate issues. Some equipment is often down, with specific reports of vacuums being out of order, having weak suction, or taking money without working. The credit card process is sometimes called awkward and sketchy, and kiosks can be out of product. While some find it a great place for a DIY wash and their new go-to spot, others feel it is not what it used to be and is ready for a tech upgrade.

Great self-service car wash! The pressure washer had excellent water pressure, the property was clean and well maintained, and the prices were very affordable. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a quick and inexpensive place to wash your vehicle.
It takes credit card or quarters.

My favorite self service car wash. Every time I come here, there’s someone taking care of and cleaning the facility. Use to live near by, now I have to drive 20-25 minutes because I all I ever see around San Antonio is trendy drive through car wash that scratch up your car.
