Regal Live Oak is one of the oldest Regal locations in San Antonio and is considered outdated in many aspects, though it is well kept up, neat, and clean. It recently received a major upgrade with San Antonio's third IMAX screen. The newly remodeled IMAX auditorium features a stunningly perfect visual quality and dynamic audio, providing an excellent experience, though the cosmetic upgrade and standard, non-reclining seats may not blow you away. The plush cloth seats with leather headrests are comfortable enough for a long movie. While IMAX tickets are around twenty dollars, it is worth seeing a movie on this screen at least once. The general theaters are clean without long lines, and staff members are friendly. Food is expensive, and concessions have had issues, such as cold corn dogs needing to be remade. A notable incident involved a mouse in a theater. The seats in standard auditoriums are not very wide or comfortable and do not recline, which is a common point of feedback. Despite being on the warmer side at times and lacking modern amenities like recliners or in-seat ordering, many find it a good place to see movies, especially with the unlimited deal for frequent visitors. The service and food are generally good, and it remains a worthwhile location for the IMAX experience.
Very clean, easy to get a last minute ticket for a matinee movie. Plenty of seats to pick and no crowding.

The movie theater was clean and there weren’t long lines at all. The food was expensive, but I think that’s how it is in most places now. You won’t get the reclining seats here or the option to purchase food from your seat, but I really don’t have any major complaints. The staff members were friendly as well.

Don't let the other peoples reviews sway you from going somewhere else to see a movie. Adult tickets were 14.50 each for a sat evening and the only complaint I have was the theatre was on the warmer side. Other than that, the service and food we had was good.
