Went to see demon slayer in IMAX. The ticket and food staff were great but the Theater seat rows are so narrow . I couldn’t walk in front of people to access my seat because there’s literally not enough room to clear a person. For an IMAX experience In a fancy area i expected better I guess

As one of the Oldest Regal locations in San Antonio. Regal at Live Oak is definitely outdated in many aspects. However this locations is well kept up with. It's a neat and clean environment. This particular location was just MAJORLY Upgraded with San Antonio's 3rd IMAX screen. Which is a pretty big deal. I visited today to experience this auditorium specifically. While the interior was very nicely remodeled from the ground up its not necessarily gonna blow you away with the cosmetic upgrade. The seats are standard, NO RECLINERS. Which is ok to some extent. The seats are plush, cloth seats, with a leather headrest as is pretty common. But the seats are comfortable enough to sit for a 3 hour movie like I did. The screen however is a BIG upgrade to this location. The visual quality is stunningly perfect and the upgrade in audio is absolutely Dynamic! I had the BEST experience watching WICKED on this screen. While IMAX prices have been raised to about $20 dollars a person. It is worth seeing a movie here, if at least once, just pick a movie you really care about. Even though I live far on the opposite side of town. I'd 100% be willing to drive to this location again for the IMAX. Here's hoping the rest of the Theaters gets a really good upgrade to match this quality. ❤️

Very clean, easy to get a last minute ticket for a matinee movie. Plenty of seats to pick and no crowding.

Went here to see an early showing of “Spinal Tap II” on September 11th with my husband. Our tickets said screen 17. The man who scanned our tickets did not inform us that the showing had been moved from screen 17 to screen 14, so we sat there waiting for it to start until we realized it wasn’t going to. We moved to the other auditorium, got about 20 minutes into the movie, and it just shut off and the lights came back on. After we spoke to a manager, she said she would restart the movie where it turned off. We walk back in, and whoever was in charge of restarting it was fast-forwarding the film and we missed a few minutes of the movie. I didn’t feel like walking back up to the front to try to get them to rewind, so we just cut our losses and tried to enjoy the rest of the film. Will not be coming back to this theater, go to the Galaxy instead.

If I could give this place a negative I would!! This place is garbage they don't know what they are selling combos say one thing and then the staff will argue with you that the things listed on the board right behind them are not included in the combos. Entire place was dirty and the arm rest didn't even work in half the seats. Never again save your money and go literally ANYWHERE else.

ATTACKED BY A MOUSE??!??! Girlfriend and I saw a matinee showing of Twisters because Glen Powell is AMAZING ? but you know what’s not amazing??? COLD DOGS. Corn dogs that is. They were cold and needed to be remade? Like just do it right the first time…. Then during the movie my girlfriend’s life was threatened by a mouse trying to steal our sour straws! Luckily we were the only ones in the theater so no one heard our screams of terror. We were able to move to enjoy the rest of the movie but it was only an okay movie.

$16 for a Saturday night movie. Old school seating not worth it. Concession Stand long wait. You can't pour your own popcorn. They put barely any butter. Over priced. Been to better movie theaters that have reclining seats and you can get your own popcorn and drinks..moves the line much faster. Plus nice to go get a refill without having to wait in line again.

The movie theater was clean and there weren’t long lines at all. The food was expensive, but I think that’s how it is in most places now. You won’t get the reclining seats here or the option to purchase food from your seat, but I really don’t have any major complaints. The staff members were friendly as well.

Don't let the other peoples reviews sway you from going somewhere else to see a movie. Adult tickets were 14.50 each for a sat evening and the only complaint I have was the theatre was on the warmer side. Other than that, the service and food we had was good.

Really enjoy going g here to see movies. Staff is very friendly and we use the unlimited deal. If you like going to the movies multiple times a month, the unlimited deal is great.
