About Llano Crawfish Open
The Llano Crawfish Open is a fun outdoor festival and charity event held along the Llano river. It features plenty of crawfish, which was really good, though some found it too salty. There is also other food like jambalaya, sausage on a stick, brisket plates, and BBQ. The event books national touring country and Cajun bands for live music. There are lots of art vendors and booths to buy things, with fun stuff for kids. The people are nice, attentive, and helpful. It is typically a cash-only event, so bring cash, though there are onsite ATMs. There is ample parking and plenty of signs. The festival has an auction and is put on for charity with the tagline "open your hearts."

Great festival again in 2024! Crawfish however were way too salty and hard to peel because of that. 2023 had better taste. Next year please get rid of the salt. Rather to eat spicy than salty. See yall next year!!

Had a blast with my pals. Music not too loud, ample parking, plenty of signs on where to go (for us out of towners). Crawfish was good. Only think I might suggest is make sure to let tourists know that its 95% cash only. onsite ATMs worked fine, but with a little more official notice, I would have brought more cash.
